Right! You don't come to God's presence with those things and just in case he forgot, there are precedents in the word of God to support this type of reverence. Jewelry were among the things Jacob buried under the oak tree in Shechem. Have you guys noticed how no one is coming before the Creator with fear and trembling anymore? God forgive us of our sins. Instead of this servant of the Lord recognize where he fell short, he's defending it and the congregation is going along with him. Lord have mercy! David's experience with God has taught us to own our misgivings. That's why David was called a man of God's own heart because when confronted with wrong doings he owns it and keeps it moving. Ego does not serve God and I pray this pastor reads the comments and lift up his voice to God and ask for forgiveness. It will be okay because the Lord is faithful.

I have never seen you make statements that are contrary to what Seventh -day Adventist believe. You have helped us to keep updated on the errors creeping into the church that are being introduced by our pastors and Division leaders. I was at the General Conference sessions in Houston Texas when the North American Division reemphasized that they would continue ordaining women although the World Church in session there did not approve the measure. We must be vigilant in protecting the Bible truths that God expects us to teach. A Sunday pastor does not have a right to be in our pulpit when the people are there to hear from God.
