Some more points in sonnet: 1.person who invented sonnet is Giacoma da lentini, but popularised by petrarch. 2.Volta-(a change of thought) occurs in petrarchan sonnet in 9 th line. 3.Spenserian sonnet is also a type of sonnet its like English sonnet (introduced by thomes wyatt) 3 quatrains and one couplet (abab bcbc cdcd ee)
