What rod would you pair that with for an all round bass /pollock spinning plastic lures /jigging etc , looked at Stradivarius and twin power and keep coming back to the gosa , interesting that you kept it with so much choice out there

That knob looks good!! What brand is it and where did you purchase it?

Subbed! Between Gosa GW and Twin Power SW, which is the better reel, and why? Appreciate the response. Will help me decide which to buy. Since these came out 19’ and 21’ Guessing it will be a couple-few more years before new versions are released. May buy now

@@Unplugged704 I’d buy another at the “drop of a hat”! if you’ve got the money get the TP. It’s MUCH smoother, more metal parts, more bearings, I think more water “resistant” and feels special, a top drawer reel. The only negative (that applies to ALL Shimano reels) is the handle knob is rubbish. Just upgrade it to a Gomexus

Nice review! Please help me understand the difference (pro/con) between Gosa SW and Twin Power SW. Which is better for what use?
@lurefishingforwrasseuk25884 ай бұрын
@@Unplugged704 the TP is more water resistant (don’t dunk it) than the gosa to my knowledge. It also has more bearings and more metal parts. I use my TPs for boat/shore use, I’d use the gosa if I was surf fishing or a reel I need to beat on as it’s cheaper.

@@lurefishingforwrasseuk2588 Thanks! I would have thought the “SW” makes it fully sealed? So any SW reel can be used offshore. Hmm

@@Unplugged704 yes sealed but not van staal sealed
@Unplugged7044 ай бұрын
@@lurefishingforwrasseuk2588 Right. The TP SW is almost twice the price of the Gosa SW… so I can see the TP is better sealed. Thank you sir!

@@lurefishingforwrasseuk2588 Oh one more thing! 😁 I noticed there is TP SW -“ A/B/C” What do those mean?

Have you ever even tried Daiwa saltwater reels?Sorry but without reviewing them you come across as Shimano biased.I've used Shimano and Daiwa,trust me i've used them hard.Shimano is no longer the best.Stellas have had their internals cheapened over the years,but Daiwa have much better internals now.If you compare Saltiga's to Stella's for instance,well i've had both,Saltiga destroys Stella all day long.Try one.I realise this review is not about those two models,but is my opinion on the saltwater reels that both make in general.

If you look through my channel’s content you’ll see it’s not just reviews of Shimano, but also Daiwa, Penn, Okuma, Quantum, Abu, Cadence and Airflo reels. I’ve had both Daiwa and Penn reels “let go” within 3 months, which have put me off these brands. All my Shimano’s have been perfect, with literally zero issues. This is why I personally prefer Shimano.
