SHIMANO STELLA 2022 5000 XG AFTER 6 MONTHS???

I've had a 5000 and now a 2500 FK. Super smooth and love the line lay. Best reel I've had.

I have 5000 size n it’s just an awsome reel , alot of torque for such small reel n the best it casts like a big pit reels ,i have bulls eye , ultegra xsb 14000 n two penn spinfisher lc 7500/6500 , this reel is close enough to their distance. Among many reels that i have including daiwa certate lt 5000 no regular spinning reel come close to this reel .

the body of the reel for the 4k and 5k is the same, the only difference is the spool size. suits me perfect with having lighter line on the 4k spool.

Hi. Great video. I have just purchased the 5000fk. There isn’t many videos online about this reel. I have a few questions. 1 I have just put 300 meters of 29lb braid on it and has loads of spare spool but it says I can only get 220 yards on the stats? 2 I fish the tropics for tuna. Mahi. King mackerel. Wahoo. They are never bigger than 30 kg. Will this reel be man enough for that? Thanks.

Might be a bit light for a 30 kg fish, but definitely good fun, check my other video, I landed a 15kg fish on the 5000, love the reel screaming sound

I have the Stella and Stradic. I think the Stradic is way smoother and very light. Stella cost me $600 ish vs $250 Stradic

Nah. Not for $1149. I rather have a daiwa maverick . Daiwas are much better. Saltigas dogfights, even certates. I think I'd even like a shimano saragosa 5000 better .

Personal preference i guess, i have used some of the reels you mentioned, they are good for sure. Try these if you haven’t yet. Might convert 😜

Unless u used both reels. The Exist is comparable to the Stella. I would have to catch fish to see if the Exist is better. But a maverick. Doubt it.
