7:40 That was a Bentley Arnage Coupe. Looks like a early 2000's model. Very cool car. The Bentley logo has wings, The Rolls logo is just a rectangle with the double Rs in it.

I also really enjoy it when you run into someone who has been following you for a while and you let them tagalong and you guys have a conversation especially when they’re from another country. It’s very interesting how you interact with them differently like you’re literally teaching them the things that you know about Japan. Thank you gentleman from Denmark 🤗👍

19:25 the green color and geometric construction of those elevated train line pillars reminds me of the ones i had around me in chicago as a kid. less rust on the japanese ones though lol.

Thank you for sharing this. These are probably more hidden tourist gems that few tourist would go and enjoy. Always have preferred the yurakacho shops under the rail compared to piss alley!

What a wonderful clip! I’m currently staying in Shimbashi on the Ginza side, haven’t actually explored the other side of the station which looks like it’s got more history to it! Will definitely take a look before we leave Tokyo and thanks so much for sharing 😊

i really enjoyed having my hotels in kyobashi and over at the hotel yaenomidori a bit farther from tokyo station. Highly recommend, it has a rooftop garden and seating area/bar. Very quiet at night and still 711 around. really miss tokyo already.

That's a Bentley Continental R. 😮I don't know anything about cars, but using Google Lens, I was able to identify it. 😉 Fancy car! Looks like we are not in Kansas anymore. 😂 The bells while you were eating the blueberry daifuku sounds so lovely. 50:39 Your viewers and fans are very nice and they love running into you. ❤

You should do an interview with that robot guide. Set up a list of questions for directions. Or whatever information hes designed to despemce.

It's a Lotus Elise. That generation has a 1.8L inline 4 cylinder VVTI Toyota Celica engine. 190hp. Not a lot of horsepower, but it is so light that it doesn't need much. There wasn't much like it in the 2000's, and today their values are going up.

the beige car had the offset twin r logo on the hubs. so definitely a Rolls. Japan spec by app appearances i notice quite a few details either customized to it or made for the japanese market, trim kit, door handles, alot of one off details. which could just mean it was ordered that way from their bespoke department though in RRs case.

Would a 72 hrs unlimited subway/metro pass be sufficient to get around Tokyo instead of using only the JR Yamanote Line?
@japanmakesmehappy5 ай бұрын
for me, yes.. just sharing
@henrychew2355 ай бұрын
The 72 hours pass actually goes to more and wider area than yamanote line. Do ensure you are using it enough to make full use of the passes.

Hey John, so you’re very respectful about not mentioning the name of that KZbinr that was jailed - however I do not want to support his channel by accident so I’m trying to find out who it is so I don’t watch their videos. I also keep watching your other videos because when I do come over there, I wanna make sure I don’t make those mistakes by accident, so can you point me to which video of yours specifically speaks to the rules when you are walking with a video phone like say I’ve got the phone set to video and it’s strapped to my chest so I’m hands-free and I’m just walking through Tokyo what is the rule and where are those rules. Does that make sense? Thank you so much John for all that you do and for always protecting the country. I lived there for a while when I was much younger and I cannot wait to come back. God bless you. ❤

to whomever said it was a lotus, its too long and im not sure any of the lotus E cars ever had ragtop convertibles. Lotus E cars are models with names starting with E. not sure why but thats been a lotus tradition for a long time.

Japanese people pronounce it ”Shim-bashi”, not Shin-bashi. 新聞 / しんぶん、or a newspaper, ん is the same hiragana, but pronounced differently.
@onlyinjapanGO5 ай бұрын
Thank you. The English announcement 📣 on the trains pronounced it as it’s spelled (Shinbashi) in English which is helpful for visitors. But 50% of signs also say Shimbashi 😂 it’s very confusing, the messaging to visitors. It’s good people know the local way. Also, in English, it’s impossible to say Shin-Bashi with a hard N 😂 I tried. The next letter is B so that closes the N sound quick with is … M. It’s almost the same anyway, but noticeable to local ears 👂 thank you ^_^
