Some Key Points for your reference are mentioned below.
1. If you plan to visit Shimla, 3 days will be more than enough to cover all the local attractions and food joints.
2. Viceregal Lodge has particular timings for visiting so make sure to check online before visiting, We visited at 1pm time slot. Price for 1 person can be around Rs 100 if you're Indian Citizen and Rs 500 for a foreigner.
3. Jhaku Temple is accessible through both ropeway and cab, cab costs 600 to and fro, while ropeway costs Rs 500. Starting point of both ropeway and cab is 15 min walk from the ridge. It is a steep walk so plan your visit accordingly, last ropeway is at 5pm.
4. Kufri Adventure park is 45 mins from Shimla via Road. Indoor and outdoor activities both can be played only once with your pass, prices vary depending upon the package you choose. If you want to access all the indoor and outdoor games, the prices will be higher, we paid Rs 4500 for 4 people which included all the indoor and outdoor games. It will take good 3-4 hours for you to visit Kufri and enjoy all these games so plan accordingly.

All the recommended ones are superb except indian coffee house, the worst place ever to eat anything.. they r selling stale things to eat !!!
