Yes, this is important. If you don't reset through that first gate a the top of the path you won't be able to spawn the guy to fight.

@@thecurtle yeh, i was yoinked a couple of times, because i saw Shizghar for 1 second and then he dissapeared. At first i thought it was because of the world quest that is there, but then i tried the other starting point and it worked out perfectly, even with the world quest there

I was stuck on this for a while. The video starts with you in the corridor linking oaken assembly and the mistveil tangle. The point is to follow the blue lights, but there are actually a pair of blue lights marking the exit to oaken assembly. You need to pass through these first before you start the maze, otherwise it doesn't work.

How would a person find that out in game? THat's just stupid design. If the NPC perhaps said something that would allude to it or something, any hint would have been better.

@@luniers4629 Its not supposed to be obvious its one of those things that people are supposed to figure out the hard way and people get to have fun figuring it out, then once its been figured out by the people who love doing all the riddles, they usually start releasing videos and stuff like this for regular people to face roll through

After doing this 100% correctly, I go into the room where Shizgher is, but it still despawns. I've run the laborynth multiple times, keeps despawning. Anyone know how to fix this?

Weird, did it completely fine on live just a few hours ago. Perhaps the blue lanterns are now changing their order? Check for the blue lanterns before walking through a door.

You need to start at the very start ...entrance between Oaken Assembly and Mistvale Tangle. Look at the map @ 0:50 . Soloable as a fresh 60 guardian druid with roots ( to keep elite adds off you ) and heals

If like myself you did this a half dozen times following the BLUE (NOT pink, violetish BLUE lanterns) and it still despawned, you HAVE to navigate it from the Oaken Assembly arch back exit to the final blue lantern marked maze arch in the center. The lanterns will either be hanging from or sitting beside the right arch to take and are triangular bulb in shape.

If you do this correctly and it still phases, when you restart run all the way to the start PAST the giant Elite. With my friends and I, we had to do this otherwise it didn't reset correctly.

God damn, lol, tried it his way 6 times, and you are correct. The puzzle of the blue orb begins/resets where the Elite guards the first blue lantern.

SO for those having issues, where he starts in the video IS NOT where you have to start. You have to go further up the hill...THAT is the starting point.

Go all the way back to Root-home if you have failed it once. Then follow the path and you shouldnt be hearing zap sound when you cross the entrances with the blue lanterns. I got it wrong the first time , then it started phasing/disappearing the npc out until I reset.

It seems like you need to read a scroll out by Valfir spawn spot, (by a bunch of Drust guys) first and if you mess the maze path up, you have to back ALL the way out to that spot and restart. If you hear drums you are doing it WRONG!

followed path and had him despawn 4x, on the 4th time i just gave up and sat at his spawn while afk, came back to him standing there so even if u see him despawn it doesnt mean u did it wrong it just isnt up, horse wasnt tehre either so idk about the horse will be there but he wont stuff, there was NO horse or shiz then 20 min later there was both

are you jumping on the shroom after the first left turn? That greatly reduces aggro range so you can easily walk through
