Great to see a SMT side scroller such like Cave Story and CVSOTN.
This game recently came out on October 16th in Japan and dropped a download link to the public. It has some English to it, but it's mainly Japanese.

Seems to be made by the same person who made that Touhou side scroller featuring Sakuya as the main character. I like the Ikaruga-esque mechanic of swapping back and forth between Jack Frost and Pyro Jack to absorb red and blue bullets.

alice would wreck frost and pyro even if they were level 99 so i feel really weird watching a level 9 frost and pyro beat alice

Yeah, but the Jack frost and Pyro jack in synchronicity aren't normal demons their brains have been synchronized with a humans and as we see and hear with black frost it seems this sychronazation grants them more power than a normal demon. Which explains why they can take out demons who should be more powerful and obtain skills that they can't normally learn without fusion
