@@ssjrosethanos1996 How so? Persona is LITERALLY a SMT game where they changed the emphasis from apocalypse to high-school life and they renamed demons to personas. It's the same game. I'm not saying some outrageous thing like "mario and zelda are the same" just because they're both Nintendo IPs. I'm not saying "persona and pokemon" are the same just because they're both RPGs. SMT and Persona are clearly the same franchise.

@@omega458 That was only a thing in the West. Atlus West put that on the box art of Persona games because they thought it would help sell the games more after the success of SMT 3 in the West. Once Persona became more popular than mainline SMT they removed it from the box art. e.g. Persona 4 Golden

For platinum enjoyers: remember, you would need to beat the game 6 times :D (4 endings of original story and 2 endings of new story)

@@danross1038 Though after first run you will have OP party, so going NG+ might be not that difficult. (it still will take time, but much less) Plus it's always an option to set up easy mode for NG+ runs. (even for unlockable Godborn mode, because it stacks with easy difficulty settings)

You definitely can, vengeance already has all the content of the base game, and it doesn't have any spoilers for other SMT games (as far as I'm aware) it's also pretty welcoming in terms of difficulty.

Yeah, you can pick this one up. Each SMT installment is a standalone story, just like in Final Fantasy

Getting just for the improved graphics alone, hated the chugging on switch

This runs AMAZINGLY on switch, you can disable motion blur and enable antialiasing as well as ambient occlusion. It looks amazing handheld and it also holds up pretty decent in docked mode on my older $100 tv that runs 1080p

Megami Tensei was created in 1987. Thus, it preceded Persona, Dragon Quest Monster Jockey, and Pokémon. Calling any game from the MegaTen series a reskin of one of these games, is wrong. I'm not going to call you a casual, but you missed the chance of shuting up
