Isn't the timeline from the original Sakura Wars different, I believe the ep 1 of the new Sakura Wars anime said it's 14 years, Sumire Kanzaki has aged so I doubt this is Sakura Shinguji

Ogami is sadly among the missing so it is possible he is brainwashed as well by the Main Antagonist. All members of the Imperial, Paris, and New York division disappeared at the end of a War that happened 2 years after SW5 with only Sumire Kanzaki return from the war with SW6 taking place 12 years after SW5. So it is currently expect the Main Antagonist has captured everyone from the Imperial, Paris, and New York division (except Sumire since she is the only who manage to return) and brainwashed them like Sakura.

Scott Bowen Kelly I believe so. The kouma army lost every battle against the divisions. Since the Kouma cannot defeat them with their demonic army. They capture them alive and brainwash all of them to be part of their army of darkness. With the divisions’ spiritual energy at the hands of the Kouma, they will follow orders of evil even against their former friend Sumire.

Its exactly as I feared. The old MC (and most likely her other teammates) is currently suffering from a severe case of EVIL! Unless they are gonna pull a "I was good all along!" type twist which I doubt. But if the rest of the old Revue members ended up like Aya-Me (as in a bonafide Kyouma and not just brainwashed) then there's no hope left for them. -Demon Slayer Yaiba fans will know why.-

Brainwashed actually. Sakura was captured at the end of the War that took place 2 years after SW5 and currently all members of Imperial, Paris, and New York (except for Sumire as she is the only one that manage to return from the War) are missing and it is speculated they have been captured and brainwashed like Sakura by the Main Antagonist. SW6 takes place 10 years after the war (12 years after SW5)
