One thing that impresses me about Shin Sae Kyung is that she seems really comfortable just being herself. She doesn't seem to be faking it just for entertainment value but because she's very intelligent and a great actress she is able to use those skills on camera to good effect. Something I find pretty common among Koreans is that the ones who can't speak English well like to insult those who do and who have the confidence to show it. As a native speaker I think her pronunciation is good. If you think you can do better then upload a video and send me the link. I'll be waiting 😉

not particularly ‘insult’ but more like, they have foreign language anxiety; xenoglossophobia. i’ve heard people around me say they have “영어 울렁증” which basically means “English-phobia” when someone has a fear of using proper English or get nauseous when they hear fluent English 😅

?나니 데스카? most koreans have adapted to accepting that the english language heavily influenced the younger generations. if anything, koreans would be wowed by better english. how would I know? I'm a fluent korean and english speaker :3
