How can anyone compare a girl who’s only half the star Regine Velasquez age? The young learn from those who come before them! Morissette’s biggest influencer, idol & mentor was Sara Geronimo & the fact that their voices was so similar didn’t do her any good. She had to develop her own stile. She learned her whistle notes from Mariah Carey - again - the young learn from the more experienced singers. No one can beat Regine, Asia’s SONGBIRD! I do love Morissette’s voice, though! Too bad that Regine never got famous outside of Asia... She turned down an offer from Britain, to audition for “Miss Saigon”. She said she thought she was not experienced enough. Do you even know how many nominations & Award winnings Regine has?! She could have made it internationally, but I believe I’ve read somewhere that she didn’t dare to take that step - too bad. She has one of the greatest voices in the world‼️ Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m almost sure she won the award: One of the greatest singers of all time‼️
