I lived near the coast guard station and spent a lot of time on those jetties, in all kind of weather. I enjoyed this video.

Hey thank man! You are lucky to live so close to that inlet. I buy seafood from Red Truck that parks over there on weekends.

Once the water warms up i highly suggest it. If you venture on the inside make sure its slack tide. The current is very strong while moving and many boats too! Good luck! Merry Christmad!

Did you land any keeper blackfish this season?

I’m tempted to learn how to scuba dive after watching you. Great job!

You should. It's a life changing experience. Most of the time the conditions are not great here, but when the sea quiets down and you can see about 20 feet it is magical. Thanks for stopping bye.

All footage was shot over Father's Day weekend on multiple dives, scuba and freediving. Long island has some great diving if the conditions are good.

Very cool great video. Where are the black fish on the inlet side or the beach side?
@LawofOneDude3 жыл бұрын
Those were on the beach side. Thanks man. I was diving today in the sound and got 129 sinkers! Saw lots of stripped bass too.

as an angler, we are begging you to scuba dive and clear out the left sinkers and lines by the rocks. Many guys dunno how to fish and left tons of sinker there. I bet you can make a ton of money

I didnt get a chance to dive shinecock inlet this season. I do have an awesome tackle collection thanks to all of the stuff i have found over the years. Did you land a nice stripper this year?
@rickwu60052 жыл бұрын
@@LawofOneDude haha. Thank you for asking. I was visiting shinneock east first time of my life this year. That day’s weather was most beautiful ever since this cold kick in. Landed good keeper striper doing the fall run and shinneock has tons of keeper blackfish. Amazing
@rickwu60052 жыл бұрын
@@LawofOneDude the only downside is shinneock has heavy rock formation and almost jammed alot of rig. Myself lost 16 rigs that day. Insane. And it is from the rocks and also many other anglers losing their rigs and their mono is creating a web and then causing more snags. I was begging for any diver to get a knife to stab all those webs and clear out those rigs. I wish i could do it myself

@@rickwu6005 Nice! Did you use bait or lures?
@rickwu60052 жыл бұрын
@@LawofOneDude bass was strictly lure. Darter, minnow, and needlefish. Many lost their lures in the oceans. If you feel like treasure hunting, you can find alot. Also if you can clear the rigs of the east shinneock side and especially the spot where people blackfish. I cant be anymore thankful. There like 1-2 spots where all big blackfish hangs out and everyone lost their rigs and caused a huge snag. I wish i could went down to clear it. Our friends caught extra bass during the fall run. I dont mind give you my keeper. Its fine. Not a big fan of bass
