the Symptoms song has got to be the FASTEST i've ever learnt any SHINee song! i don't know how many times i've listened to it!! gosh i love your reviews!! i totally have like THE SAME opinions as you both like ALL the time!! oh but except i actually really like Minho's rap in 'close the door'! i replay his part SO many times!! and the "hey, hey, hey" in the background is just so amazing! and to this day, there is no SHINee song i don't like! keep being the fantastic elastic girls you are!! and you're true Shawols and i'm proud!

I think you guys should do a re-visited reaction to the early SHINee MVs. It'd be hilarious, but amazingly sentimental ya know? Replay, Hello, etc. I really want to see you guy do that becuase of how much progress they've made from then until the end of this 2013 ^_^

I knew I would love One Minute Back just from listening to the chorus in the medley. When I heard the whole thing I was so in love! Also I agree that Queen of New York is the equivalent to Dangerous. Other than Key's parts though (which were AMAZING OMG), for some reason I REEEEAAALLYY loved how deep Minho and Taemin sing in the verses. It's been my dream to hear SHINee sing in a lower key for some reason. Got my wish! This is DEFINITELY one bomb-diggity EP!

Funny thing is that when I went to the SW3 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, they sang Colorful at the very end with confetti and ballons.... That moment for me was pure magic. I wouldn't mind having to travel for 7 hours from a different country like I did if I could experience that again♡

I really loved this album so much. Like Destination is MY JAM. It's just reminds me of all the old SHINee throwback songs and a lot of it reminds me of MJ stuff. And just idk I've been with them for 3 years and to see how much they've grown. Like Minho not being shy and Taemin with his blinking and Key and Jonghyun being assholes to each other more and Onew getting more manly, it's just like a dream come true. I just love SHINee so much and i want them to continue making music forever.

Firstly..i just LOVE this album to bits. It's everything that SHINee represents. This mini just ties all they've done this year so well. I loveed ur review..i agree with 99.9% of everything you guys said except that part about the rap in close the door..i dunno why but i think it fit perfectly! it was a welcome 'interference' for me and i think it sounded hella sexy and it wasn't over the top 'badboy'..just the low husky tone really matched the vibe of the song

I agree this was some good SHINee music. And I do agree that Misconceptions of Me was better then Part 1 for sure because I love the R&B feels in songs since that was the music I liked originally before K-pop

You described my every thought although i happen to love all the rap parts, it really fits into the songs . Minho/Key styling of rap is very different and really awesome . This mini album is gold~ literally every song is different and amazing in its own way. SHINee , have outdone themselves yet again, all the music this year has been phenomenal.i suggest that 'everybody' purchases it haha

OMG Destination is like the song I always wanted to write but never could love it so much.And the harmony on one minute back like gave me the shinee hives.When Onew sing those lines in close the door I literally dropped,the things he does to me shouldn't even be legal, and I agree it seems like the perfect ballroom dance. Colorful was my jam from the start it reminds me so much of the beach and just summer love and rainbows does that sound weird? Antyways thanks for the review

I agree with all you said at the end (except the part about the misconceptions; SHINee's 3rd album -both parts- is their best, imo.. both in terms of music, production quality, and how they sounded). I enjoyed this mini a lot; One minute back is my jam! and I agree about the rap in close the door.

This album definitely gave me a Michael Jackson throwback to his Thriller album. Everybody would have been the equivalent of Thriller for me. Colorful would be Wanna be Startin Somethin. Symptoms was a hyped up Billie Jean. Close the Door gave me The Girl is Mine. Queen of New York was really PYT-esuqe for me. One minute back and Destination strayed from the Thriller feel. Destination was like They Don't Really Care About Us. One Minute Back would be like Dangerous. Loved your review and y'all!

this is actually my fav SHINee album. i really liked their older stuff more so I was /a bit/ disappointed with their previous albums this year although I loved all the title tracks they promoted and their flawless performances. But this album does it for me. It reminds me of old school SHINee. I'm an ELF but SHINee is the only other group i keep up with because they are literally flawless and in my opinion, the most well rounded and perfect group in kpop. I really admire these boys.

I am in love with the album! Queen of New York makes me want to strut down the street like I'm hot stuff, and colorful makes me just overflow with happiness. Symptoms sounds a lot like justin Timberlake to me, and I love it! My favorite time of the day is when I get to listen to the album in my car on full blast! :)

but i'm kinda suprised that you guys didn't like Misconceptions of you part 1 because that was my favorite album...and that album was so highly praised in korea and was the only idol album that was praised by korean Music critics (which is so rare since in korea ppl tend to see idol music as just...crap) overall i loved every single albums this year and SHINee earned their recognition for good music by many music critics this year so i'm so proud of them! :)

I kind of feel like y'all need to stop with the "IDK why [x] wouldn't like One Minute Back, this is real SHINee, must have just caught up with Dream Girl!" like that's a bad thing. The boys shouldn't have to be labelled contemporary R&B, to be fair, they hadn't been doing that game since like 2010. Sherlock was not contemporary R&B, and it's good for them to evolve as musicians. R&B is not the be all and end all for the boys. Pretty sure when they comeback this year, they'll have reinvented themselves again trying out another genre. I'm not saying you have to like them doing genres outside of R&B, but you should be glad they're got the creative integrity to actually do it. Also, let's not forget about songs like Ready or Not, Wowowow, Señorita and even Juliette. They've been non-restricting themselves to R&B for their whole career. I actually really respect and favour the whole Misconceptions project. It's basically a showcase of SHINee being able to say. Dance-pop? Yeah we'll do that. R&B? Yeah we'll do that. Funk? Yeah, we'll do that too. Not many artists can say they've shown so much musical progression in one piece. I think that's amazing.

Key pretty much gives life in Queen of New York, his voice is meant for songs like this and Punch Drunk Love. I hope they make more songs like those and Like a Fire and Dangerous, it's just so quintessential 'SHINee' like Love Like Oxygen but at a whole new level. And everything you said about One Minute Back is the truthhhhhh, one of the best songs they've ever done!

When I first listened to the whole album, I couldn't think of anything else except "This is SHINee." The singing, the music, the dances to Everybody and Symptoms, it just sums up all that they represent. It's their R&B side with One Minute Back, their bad boyness in Everybody, and you can't tell me Queen of New York isn't shining the spotlight on Diva Key!

The rap in "One Minute Back" just goes SUPER HARD (and btw, if anyone knows FOR SURE who is rapping at that part, PLEASE REPLY)!!! Key in this entire album just gives me oxygen AND carbon dioxide! It's funny how I really like the part one of the misconception series while you guys prefer the part two. Everyone, indeed, has a different taste in music. And your review about the Everybody album is so relatable that's why I like your review videos. Even though I'm a flame, I agree that Minho's rap in close the door was irrelevant. His singing was already as perfect as heaven in that song, especially the "dreaming of forever", yet the rap suddenly ruins it. Also, Minho's singing improved.

Its strange because at first besides everybody and symptoms, I did not like it as much as the misconceptions series. But I still love both misconceptions of you and me better but the everybody album as a whole has really grown on me! My favorites are symptoms and queen of new york!

To me Close the Door is a sad love song. After waiting and pleading for the girl for so long, they've grown tired, asking her to now "close" the door, saying she'll soon regret losing their love. And I absolutely love this album as well, One Minute Back definitely one of my favorites too, but I still disagree about the general opinion many people have about Dream Girl and WSS. Taste plays a large part in music appreciation, and I thought SHINee executed both solidly well considering the risks.

I agree entirely with your whole review on Everybody! every song, you said exACTly what I felt!! though I disagree with your opinions on Dream Girl xD I loved Dream Girl, Hitchhiking, Punch Drunk Love, Areumdawo, and Dynamite!! the other three were okay, too. (but this mighttt be because I was in love with Shinee's One Fine Day) while Why So Serious, I had trouble taking... seriously xD Though I only disliked two songs on that one, so perhaps it wins? either way, Selene 6.23 wins xD
