Hellllo everyone! We are here for a little quick reaction to a SHINee video that was on my list of random SHINee videos to watch when I want to watch a SHINee video! In today's episode, we will be reacting to a compilation called Minho and Key being an old married couple for 10 minutes straight! I couldn't pass this up as Minho and Key seem to be who I'm gravitating for as far as biases. :P I hope you all enjoy! 🥰

Shinee is one of the few groups with overall healthy masculinity (I'm a multifan since 2nd gen, I've seen a lot lol), and in that aspect, Minho, the member who's most "traditionally masculine", is also the one who starts skin ship and constantly expresses his love for his members. It's really cute. Also, super waiting for you to react to live versions!! Specially Excuse me miss and Dynamite, love the effect they have on people watching them for the first time uwu

It's his can't lose trait. Key knows very well which buttons to push.. funny thing is that minho knows what he is doing but gets affected anyway.. Minho is very much a pleaser towards his his loved ones, shawols included. He is always affectionate and hungry for affection luckily he has his hyungs. My theory is that Minho represents everything the typical korean male is valued for which Key feels he isnt or doesn't like. But once key believes minho is truly genuinely that rare combo of jock and nerd with a soft heart, he tries to cover how he feels by keeping up the tsundere act. Minho is a true gentleman always accommodating and openly affectionate, the true diva key makes him feel like he needs to earn the privilege.

I will always say it I love and miss your Shinee reactions so much!!! And especially this kind of content is just gold! I just love Minho and Key's dynamic so much! Please more compilation content! They have so much fun stuff out there! I just the whole relationship Shinee has so much! They were never fake about anything and openly talked about how especially at the start things were hard and the members wouldn't get along. They were teenagers between 14 and 18 years old and they lived and worked together. I can't imagine how difficult that must have been sometimes. But it's so beautiful to see their journey and see them grow as friends and eventually becoming a family. Because that's what Shinee are: a family. And no other group ever gave me that same feeling. They will always be there for each other and they can always count on the other no matter how much time passes or how much of it they will spend apart. That's what family is.

Love the reaction. Thank you! These guys truly, truly love each other. They each have their own dynamic with each other. They are never afraid to show their affection for one another or their bickering. Sometimes they can get so wrapped up in each other that they forget they are on award shows or variety shows. The thing is i do believe minkey dont actually fight often rather they are the most comfortable fluffing up their stories for broadcast! They knw it isnt going to affect their relationship off camera so they talk abt it for fun! Even onew said that all of them are diff from each other and it took them all time to find a common ground. Also, taemin did 'confess' in their japanese seek mag(i think) that he is the only member who has fought with everyone else on the team. So most definitely, minkey just trust each other enough to nt take things seriously when they talk abt their fights on tv.

They did butt heads a lot when they first started. But minho tended to give in to keep peace while key was more grudgey (?) But once key has established himself it got more comfortable. It helps that ming is sincerely open about his feelings and key can act like he isn't fazed. To this day we see everytime people fawn over Minho's looks he'd say it's nbd but early on, you'd see he almost looked like he'd a bit of a crush on ming.

@@hiddlespearean yes but im highly confident they were not the only ones in the team. All 5 of them had their own mind. The way i see it is that minkey managed to develop their relationship in a healthy manner. So at least with each other, they can be upfront and dont hold things to heart. And they are comfortable enough to talk about it on tv. If i were to compare it with another member, lets say onew Since he is the oldest, they respect him a lot. We dont see them dissing him often eventhough they have fights off camera. Its a different dynamic with him. Its the same with the other members as well. At least from my perspective, minkey are actually very comfortable with each other.

@@ohnimevol-9480 oh I agree... they re chinggus. Their dynamic was different but ultimately healthy..like siblings who're also close in age. Unlike Onew and jjong are hyung line (don't want to disrespect) and Taemin the baby.. they're family now but it their young ages and shorter training time before debut probably contributed to the rough bumps and they're proud of their progress instead of feeling the need to hide it and pretend.

It's a well known fact that when Key and Minho were trainees they didn't get alone because their personalities are the complete opposite. Even though Minho and Key are now very close and they have learned to understand and accept and respect their differences, it's still a running joke that they know how to push each other's buttons and they don't want to spend too much time together. Their hatred for each other is no longer real, but they play up their dislike as a joke. So any time Key or Minho is asked about spending time alone with each other or giving each other extra respect, etc. it's a given that they will both say no. As you saw, they have a complicated relationship, because even though they were both born in 1991, which makes them the same age, Minho became an SM trainee first so he is considered a senior to Key, but Key is actually about 3 months older than Minho, so it has become a point of contention -- who deserves more respect? The older one or the one with more time in the industry? It all has to do with the Korean honorific system and how you are supposed to show respect for those who came before you and/or those who are older than you, etc. But neither one wants to concede to the other. So over the years it has turned into a funny power struggle between the two of them. Also, whether SM did this intentionally or not, I think Key and Minho were sort of forced to become closer because the order in which the members of SHINee stand or sit in for interviews, photo shoots and events since debut has always had Minho and Key next to each other. And they are often paired up for photo shoots, etc. because their opposite personalities and fashion styles, etc. create and interesting dynamic that photographers like to highlight. However, as Taemin points out, these days Minho and Key are super close and you always see them together, especially after being apart for almost 2 years while they served in the military. Minho really missed his members, and it seems Key in particular, because you see them together all the time, even just hanging out. And it seems like even when Minho plans things by himself, Key often somehow gets involved. As Minho said, they are more like an old married couple now that just gets each other and knows what each other wants without even having to say anything.
