In SHINee's "Married to the Music" MV the girl in the wedding dress was collecting the best body parts from each of the members to create her ideal man. She burned Minho's head because what she wanted was his body. She used fire because Minho's nickname is "Flaming Charisma" because of his passion for life and sports and his need to always win. Minho has the best body of the group so, she took Minho's body, Key's head, Onew's nose, Taemin's eyes and Jonghyun's lips (for obvious reasons. LOL). Then at the end she spliced them all together and formed her perfect guy. If you notice, in the end credits we see a person that has been created from all of the members' body parts, which is supposed to be the guy the girl created. In other words, music is a very fickle girl and she controls your life by picking and choosing the best parts and mashes them together to create the perfect song. LOL. In SHINee's iconic SM museum archives you can even see the rubber eyes, nose and lips, etc. that were created from molds of the members actual body parts and used as props in this MV. We now know where Key gets his sassy personality from because we discover he is full of lemons. And when she takes Onew's nose we see Onew's blood is orange like nacho cheese because he is known for his cheesy jokes, as the "old man" of the group, etc. LOL. Their outfits and hair are supposed to look like they are dressed for a retro Halloween party. There isn't a dance practice for this song, but if you want to see the choreography better you should watch the performance version MV and/or a live comeback stage. There is a lot more to this dance than what you see in the MV. And if you check out their comeback stages you will see their bow ties look like bats and some of their hats have witches fingers, etc. (Everytime they performed this song on music shows their outfits are different, so it's worth checking out more than one performance to see just how fun their outfits and stages were.) Koreans say they like to watch scary movies and shows in the summer because it gives them chills, which cools them down when it is hot. So, that's probably why they came up with this concept for "Married to the Music" as an August comeback theme. SHINee really are one of the most iconic and influential groups. They are always setting trends, never following them. SHINee were designed to be SM Entertainment's experimental boy group, so everything they do is meant to be the first and they are expected to come up with a style and sound that has never been done before. And yet it still always ends up feeling and sounding like SHINee. SHINee has started the trend with almost everything, there is almost nothing that can't be attributed to something SHINee has been involved in. With every new song SHINee produces it's expected to be different than the last, so you will NEVER hear the same style or sound from them in any of their songs, even on the same album. The industry looks to SHINee to show them what the next song style and dance trend will be. And it is said that within 3 months of SHINee releasing their new song and choreography, you will see that same sound and style being duplicated across the industry with every comeback to follow from both boy groups and girl groups. When SHINee does something the industry takes note and follows suit. Case in point, SHINee is known as one of the very first groups to ever dress up in full costume for Halloween. Juice only had Key (the man in the opening), Minho and Taemin, unfortunately. The album version also has Onew on it, but he had to go on health hiatus halfway through filming the MV for this comeback (Hard) and was away for 10 months (we recently learned that he had to have a neck surgery), so he wasn't there fir the filming of this performance video. SM started putting English subtitles on their content only in 2019, so anything before that (except for Replay, because it was remastered) won't have subs, that's why I'm guessing you checked out a fan made video.

Married to the music is considered to be THE Halloween bop in kpop. In the MV, the bride represents Music, it's taking "the best parts" of each member to create "the perfect man" (you see him in the spotlight at the end). You should check out the dance version of the MV, it's very Broadway.

In SHINee's "Juice" performance video, I think the "sun" is supposed to remind you of a giant orange. The song is called "Juice," so I think the orange sphere might be designed to represent the theme of the song. We also see it turn into a red sphere and a silver crystal-like ball. LOL. I think the "sun" is changing colors and becoming more powerful to go along with how the song is getting more fierce. (And as you noticed, in the beginning they showed an eclipse, which could potentially be connected to SM Entertainment's SM Culture Universe storyline.) If you want to see how they filmed this video, check out their "(HARD) #8 'Juice' dance practice and performance video" behind the scenes filming video. This will show you exactly what went into making this video and what it was like on set, etc. I interpret the lyrics of the song as a big flex about how they are at the top of the game and they have that special "juice" that makes everyone want them and fall in love with them, etc. (As you may know, "Juice" is a slang term that, in this case, I think means "the it factor," i.e. the thing that makes you attracted to me, etc.) Fun fact: The phrase, "Incoming!!!", the laughing, and the phrase "Let's get it" in the background, as well as the phrase "Let's change the scenery, shall we" in the middle of the song, are the signature style and voice of Dem Jointz, who is one of the producers of this track, along with Kenzie. All the backup dancers fell down at the end because the only ones who could "survive" by the end of that performance were the SHINee members. :D As you are starting to discover, SHINee are some of the best dancers in the whole industry. They started the synchronized dance trend. And they made the industry realize that if anyone else wanted to compete they needed to up their game. Just think, when Taemin joined SM as a trainee at 11, he didn't even have any dance training -- up until then, all his skills were self-taught by watching dancers on TV shows -- and by the time he debuted less than 3 years later in 2008, he was already showing everyone that his skill level was on par with, or even surpassed, many professional dancers who had been dancing for years. That's why Taemin is now considered one of the top two BEST dancers in all of Kpop. It's why he is most idols' idol and a legend even among legends. And the fact that the other SHINee members have no problem keeping up with Taemin, just shows why SHINee are one of the top groups. That's just SHINee's natural talent. Plus, Key actually was chosen to become an SM trainee because of his skills as a dancer. He is the SHINee member who is fastest at memorizing choreography. He has a photographic memory, so he only needs to see a dance once and he can replicate it on the spot almost better than the original. He literally knows everyone's choreography in the Kpop industry. He can fill in as a member of almost any group because he knows their song and choreography just as well, or better, than the actual members. And although Minho is the main rapper of the group, in fan meetings and concerts when he has a solo stage, he often does dance covers or dance performances because he is also a really good dancer. However, as you know, what sets SHINee apart even more as a group, is they are also recognized as some of the best vocalists in the industry. SHINee are referred to as CDINee or CD-eaters, because they sound even better live than their album versions. Even as rookies, SHINee's main vocalists -- Onew and Jonghyun -- were mentors and vocal coaches to a lot of other singers and trainees, including several members of EXO. (EXO may be considered "Vocal Kings," but SHINee are the original Vocal Kings. Which just goes to show you why they are both SM groups.) In their "Juice" performance video Onew -- SHINee's leader and one of the top vocalists in the industry -- was unable to participate in this performance, so the other members covered his parts in the song. However, you should watch their recent SHINee World Concert VI performance to see Onew performing with them. Onew's voice in the song creates an even richer feel. That's just SHINee for you, even when one of their main vocalists is missing, the other members can step in and cover for them and they still manage to sound and look flawless. Although each of their voices adds their own district color to their songs that can't be replaced -- to be fair, all their songs are much better with all 5 of them -- but the other members are so good, that they never look or sound like they are lacking, no matter who is covering each part of the song. The ONLY thing SHINee is not good at is lip syncing, so they have specifically trained since their debut, to build stamina and endurance, in order to be able to sing live for 3+ hours straight, all while performing these intense choreographies. When you watch a live performance, you may be shocked, because they sound so perfect live even though they are dancing so intensely, but that is why they are so highly respected by everyone. It's a running joke between fans and the members that you can tell when SHINee are lip syncing because they are so bad at it, that is why they avoid it at all costs. Therefore, when you hear SHINee sing, 95% of the time it will be live. Yes, over the years they have become better at lip syncing than they used to be, but now they have gained the reputation as the group that always sings live, so unless they are required to lip sync for a specific reason, what you will hear is live vocals. Other Idols and audio sound technicians, etc. who have witnessed SHINee performing live are always blown away, because in the parts of the song where most singers would take a break and rely on the backing track vocals to cover their voices so they can catch their breath and recover, this is where the SHINee members actually ramp it up and become their most powerful. Therefore, in their live performance of "Juice" SHINee sounds even better than in the recorded version, all while dancing full out. What makes SHINee so great is that even if they are singing a cappella while performing this high energy choreography, they sound just as flawless. That's why, even as rookies, senior artists would stop what they were doing to watch SHINee's rehearsals on music programs because SHINee's vocal talent is that impressive. When SHINee debuted, they were the first group to demonstrate how it was possible to sing live while performing complex choreography and still maintain stable vocals. Before SHINee, the thought within the industry was that it wasn't possible to sing live and also perform high intensity choreography at the same time. At that time, most groups would either sing live and have simple choreography, or they would have crazy cool choreography, but lip sync to their recorded vocals. SHINee completely changed the Kpop industry and upped the standard of what it meant to be an idol singer. As you know, SHINee live is unmatched. It's literally referred to as the SHINee standard. It's the standard that all other groups strive to reach, and SHINee are the vocalists that all other artists try to emulate. SM really hit gold when they formed this group, and I don't think it can ever be duplicated in the same way again. There's been a lot of debate whether "Hard" or "Juice" should be the lead/title track on SHINee''s Hard album -- SM wanted "Juice," to be the lead track, but the SHINee members insisting on "Hard." At this point, I think we all just need to trust SHINee knows what they are doing. Over the past 15/16 years, we have seen the SHINee members prove time and time again, that they know how to be one step ahead of the trend. For example, Jonghyun wanted his song "Deja Boo" to be his solo debut song, but SM insisted on his song "Crazy (Guilty Pleasure)." And in the end, Jonghyun was right. "Deja Boo" became so popular as a b-side track that it had SM scrambling to find ways to showcase the song, proving Jonghyun knew what he was doing. And, "View" -- which is one of SHINee's most popular songs -- wasn't even a contender for SHINee's Odd album, until Jonghyun rewrote the lyrics and the members pushed SM to make it their lead track. In their "SHINee's - 15m Roadtrip comeback show", Key, Minho and Taemin revealed that they all spent a lot of extra time making sure everything felt right with their Hard album. They wanted to release the album on May 25, the day of their 15th anniversary, but things needed work. For example, there was a section in "Hard" that needed some tweaking. So, instead of just rushing to get it done, they took the time to make it perfect. Key said, that when they heard the final version of "Hard" -- which was sent to them while they were in Japan filming their special pre-release "The Feeling" MV -- his legs went numb and he knew "Hard" had to be their title track. LOL I think the members chose wisely. Although I love "Juice" because it does a really good job of showing exactly what makes SHINee one of the best of the best, and no one can perform the way they do. However, "Hard" has a much more universally marketable/catchy sound when it comes to appealing to the mainstream public, and the choreography lends itself to being much easier to use for things like TikTok challenges, etc. than "Juice" would have been.

OOOH Girl SHINee is so much fun!! also you paused the MV just a second short of the Frankenstein Monster Boyfriend the Girl created. 🤣 In SM video there is sometimes little details to the end. Also SHINee does not have a lore but there was a time in SM 2018-2023 the company was creating a Universe that ran through all the MVs and was integrating all the groups under SM. It was so complex the older generation groups were completely clueless to what their roles in the Kwangya Universe was and so where we. "HARD" (the title track) and "Juice" had had that SM background lore feel to it but we didnt really pay attention to it.

The lore thing started with EXO a few years after SHINee debuted.
