Hi.. thank you for your curiosity for our boys. If you want to know more, I recommend you to watch a very shinee guide. It's so helpful. Basic information: SHINee debut in 2008 under SM entertainment. They're 5 member, Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin. Jonghyun passed away in 2017, so you can only see 4 members with your eyes but you can always see 5 members with your heart. Onew is the leader, lead vocalist and the oldest member. He's the one that doing piano in this video. Jonghyun is the main vocalist. Please check his work on your own. Minho is the rapper, vocalist and visual. He is the tallest one. Key is the vocalist, rapper and lead dancer. He is wearing barret and have a line across his nose in this video. Taemin is the main vocalist, main dancer and the youngest member. He's the last person dancing in this video. Our fandom called Shawol, abbreviation of SHINee World. Our fandom color is pearl aqua. Everyone can added or inform other information.

Welcome to SHINee World! 💎 To add - SHINee is a 2nd gen group and they started so young, ages between 14-18 when they debuted in 2008 with 5 members. They are known for their live vocals and intense choreo. They are also considered as trendsetters both in fashion and music (started the dance practice vids in kpop as well as having harder, sychronized choreo which other groups follow - see Lucifer dance practice), they don't usually follow mainstream music and there is no set genre. SHINee is well respected and known to be very humble and respectful towards everyone even staff. A lot of newer idols look up to them and became idols after watching SHINee. They are a favorite among variety shows because of their lovable personalities - sweet, savage, dorks. Hello... So happy that you want to learn more about our precious boys and also the fandom (SHINee World or Shawol for short). Us Shawols woll gladly give you a brief introduction to the group. SHINee is a legendary second generation group debuted in 2008. The members were so young at the time with the eldest being only 18 and maknae Taemin was only 14. This five-member group started off as a contemporary group that aims to be trendsetters in music, dance and fashion and boy they delivered. Their legendary debut song, Replay is so iconic that are still being covered by the latest generation of boy groups and is an all time favourite. Replay also earned the group Grandslam Rookie Award, winning all 9 rookie awards that year. SHINee’s music is very experimental and their sound is always ahead of time. Although some of their sounds may sound weird at first to some, they always make them work the SHINee way. SHINee is a well-known vocal powerhouse. Despite some may be main rapper or dancer, they are all vocalists with their individual solo works. Each members have distinct different flavours and tones to their voices but together is what makes SHINee so unique and able to deliver heavenly harmonies. Below are a brief description about each members: Onew: Oldest and leader. Has such a unique voice that is so honey-like , smooth and soothing yet so powerful. He is usually clumsy, a bit quiet and prefers to let the members take the centre stage. But he is very respected, adored and loved by his members as they always rely on him when they have troubles. He is also very respected by the people in the industry for always being humble, gentle and a great leader. He even won the best leader award (the only time they had it) which was voted by the people in the industry. Jonghyun: The second oldest, our precious angel and super talented artist, songwriter, producer, radio DJ and author. He (alongside Onew) is regarded as one of the best vocalists in the industry. He has a huge vocal range and always pours 100% emotions when performing. Being the second oldest, Onew often mention that he could not have done a great job as a leader if its not for the help and support from Jonghyun. Together they had to take care of the younger members who were still schooling when they debuted. Key: The all-rounder talented artist which some referred him as the triple threat because of his powerful vocal, rap and dance. He is also a fashionista, fashion director and designer. He has been responsible for SHINee’s outfits and costumes since 2014/2015 and was a Vogue editor for some time and has worked with many renowned designers. He has quite a sassy personality but is actually one of the emotional and caring one in the group. He took over the ‘mum’ role within the five of them, he was the one who cooked, cleans, and nags the boys since they were living together in the dorm. He is also a master of variety show. Minho: Despite having a baritone (deep voice), a faint lisps and was assigned the role of main rapper, he is also a great vocalist who can also belt high notes. He is the most experienced actor of the group has has acted in many prominent dramas and movies (Derailed, Hwarang, Battle of Jangsari, To the Beautiful You, Canola etc). He was even awarded multiple awards for his acting abilities. He is well- known as the flaming-charisma for his over the top competitiveness. He is very athletic and is known as a legend in the Idol Star Championship having won in many events (tracks, hurdles, high jumps, swimming etc). He is also known as Choi tenderheart as he is always supportive all all his members and are great with kids. He is the same age as Key and has a husband-wife relationship with him because they always bicker yet they’re always together. Taemin: The dancing King of KPOP and Korean Micheal Jackson and the maknae of the group. When first debuted, he barely had lines due to his immature vocal chords but with constant hard work and receiving mentorship from Jonghyun and Onew, his vocal abilities have improved leaps and bounds. He is now regarded as one of the best soloists in KPOP and he is now able to have the same lines as Jonghyun. Since he is the youngest, his members loved, adored and spoiled him so much that they let him get away with anything. The members used to walk and escort him to school because he was being bullied and harassed. They babied him so much that at first he hates it but he grew into loving it. Taemin has three personalities, onstage charismatic, off-stage shy and quiet. But the moment he’s around his members, he becomes the little savage and playful spoilt brat that he is. SHINee has such an incredible and special bond that I haven’t seen in other groups. Perhaps its because they were super young when they debuted that they practically grew up and learned about life together, not to mention, raising Taemin all by themselves. They lost their precious brother, Jonghyun in 2017 and to see them suffering then pulling through and coming back stronger is something very admirable and deserves so much respect. They decided and made it very clear that SHINee is forever five. They together with Shawols made a promise to Jong that they will makesure his legacy is forever remembered and that they will continue the dreams of five young boys forever. So never let this deter you from learning about them because it is the best way for us to honour Jonghyun and SHINee.
