I’ve been running Patamon in my list. If you have at least 3 memory, or the one memory with the training card, you can turbo into ruin mode on your second turn. Assuming patamon hits something in your security and you have the rest of the line in your hand of course.

First of all great video bro. I'm still a new player but seeing this deck against the current meta looks really good. Just a question, does the bt2 shinegreymon is good when paired with the burst mode? Cause imma be honest the ruin mode is hella expensive

Thank you! BT2 Shine is definitely not as good when paired with burst mode ALTHOUGH you can Evo into burst mode for free just like with Ruin Mode and trigger its Evo effect, and the burst mode won't go away at the end of turn when evoed off a Marcus effect. Having said that I'd just go the OTK route if you can't get Ruin Modes and just run 4 bt12 Shine with 1 bt2 Shine and then 4 burst Modes over the Ruin Modes.

Ayyye you kept the naming "Ruin Mode Turbo" - i love it. Honestly hoping that it becomes more known, despite it being kinda toxic LOL In my list i ended up running 5 eggs even though i hate running 5 eggs for the sake of consistency. But since Ruin Mode pumps out your eggs so fast, you kinda need because there's been several times i run out of eggs by turn 3-4 😂

Ah. I'd be worried about killing my Training cards when I don't open a rookie, but I guess that's probably pretty rare that you'd both hatch the 1-of and miss on rookies.

Not a single one. This list probably won't change until at least BT16.

Right on! Been playing the list. Really enjoy it. I made one tweak…wanted to get your thoughts. For the 5th mega, I’ve been using BT13 ShineGreymon. Reason being…when you’re set to 3 mem and have a BT12 Marcus in play you can evo into BT13 ShineGreymon, animate the Marcus, swing the Marcus and force evo into Ruin Mode that way. It gives your 5th mega utility to force evo much like BT2 ShineGreymon’s wombo.

Hmm not a bad idea. 🤔 I may test that out myself. I've always valued the killshot that BT12 Shine provides, but Ruin Moding even more sounds solid to me as well

I remember borrowing Shinegrey OTK and hearing it was probably going to get nerfed. After nearly killing my opponent while not knowing what I was doing/some coaching on combo lines when I forgot certain things proc'd I said "Yeah I can see why!" Aggressive but smart, fast enough it didn't need a lot of protection other than maybe X Antibody since D-Evoing the card lead to a lot of missed fatal punches but otherwise insanely strong. I also love that Marcus keeps his meme of punching Digimon bosses in the face to make his Agumon evolve. XD Still wanna build this someday outside of Drassil. Also a curious thing a friend showed me is you can use the Ace Metal Grey with Marcus and Shine Grey's combos to actually make it matter and get around the somewhat meh "can only delete a Digimon with 6k power' well everything has 6k power with enough Marcus and ShineGrey lines peppering it with little debuffs XD Poor Imperialdramon.

The Training cards replaced them in this list actually. It helps to avoid putting bodies into play vs Loogamon as well.

I actually don't own any Burst Modes lol I think this is the best version of the deck. I'd much rather make it to where my opponent can't play than try to draw into the OTK combo before they kill me.

The Deck list is really cool, would love to play it, but I only have 1 Ruin Mode and its to expensive to buy 3 more. What build would you recommend with only 1 Ruin Mode? And what do you think of Patamon Bt14 in the deck?

I think Pata is cute, but it would hurt the overall consistency of the deck since Marcus needs you to have an Agu or Greymon to become a Digimon at the beginning of main phase. If you don't have 4 Ruin Modes (totally understandable) I'd play the OTK version with 4 BT12 Shine and 4 BT13 Shine Burst Modes.

Rizegrey being mandatory opt means if you have 1 Marcus Damon in trash and 2 rizegrey, you only get 1 Marcus Damon and don't have a way to recycle another Marcus Damon if your attack and it dies that turn

I've considered it, but the only thing I'd be able to cut for it would be my 11th rookie. Idk if I'd wanna cut them that low since you desperately need to hit at least 3 or 4 over the course of a game to repeatedly Ruin Mode your opponent, and nothing searches them besides your training cards.
