To Love in the house. I have just started watching your blog and I do admire your happy and friendly disposition . However, I notice that many Trinidadians(including you dear self ) have adopted Jamaican words/sayings in their daily speaking. I am so disappointed, as Jamaican promote themselves all over the world, in their music, language (Jamaican patios) and food. In every part of the world, Jamaican refer to their food as Caribbean food, giving the impression that the Caribbean only eat Jamaican food. Isn't it about time Trinidad flys it own flag and be proud of our lingo and everything Trinidadian. People outside the Caribbean are attracted to uniqueness, diversity and indigenous cultures. It is off putting for a traveller to visit Trinidad and eat Jamaican food, hear Jamaican music and hear Jamaican patois. As one friend told me. I should have gone to Jamaica for the authentic Jamaican experience. I though I was visiting an Island with its unique sounds, food and culture! Why start your blog with a Jamaican beat?
