Agreed. Demake SF3 to some highres 2d art and upgrade SF1 and 2 to the same style. Release all five games (throw in Premium Disc translation) and unlockable art / sound test whatever. Upload recording of your battle strats and compete in leaderboards (if you want to have an online thing) or a co-op mode where people can play as the AI. Design your own characters from various skills unlocked by this character or this achievement. Whatever. But it could be done CHEAP, outsource it to whoever if you want.

This is easily one of the greatest musical scores ever made, even the original in 16 bit format is beautiful and haunting. It's a shame what the series has turned into, if only they'd stayed on the course of turn based tactical rpgs instead, we'd have remastered versions of 1 and 2 with full orchestra sound tracks of the original and like 4 more good games to have played and look forward to rerelease

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL ARRANGEMENTTTTTT !!! THANK YOU.. I remember my siblings and I played Shining force II all together helping each others... and we reached Colossus's battle (3rd before the end) and we didn't know about Promotion for players. Gong was our strongest player lol. BUT THEN we knew that we were doing something wrong. We played it again like we should have... to our surprise we were so close earlier... brings so much memories. My twin brother and I are real fanatics of it lol. We still play it now and we're 27 lol.

start of the game: you start as a rag-tag group of recruits sent to deal with Goblins, as you travel you help outlying towns and cites, getting allies from Centaur Knights, birdmen, a Werewolf, an Android, mages, etc... by the end you have a good sized army of your own.

+DantesonofSparda85 This is why I like SF1 more than 2. It really does feel like a war. The battles are all great, the music fits perfectly with battles/war themes. You literally do become the Shining Force, and your enemies fear your name.

When I was a kid I've used Simone theme as some kind of lullaby song. I`ve recorded it on my cassette player and turned it on falling asleep.... Thank you for this Masahiko Yoshimura! I know only a few games in which OST is something more than a background music, but a Thing itself - and Shining Force OST is one of them.

Ah yes, Shining Force: The Dark Dragon and the Light Sword. My favorite Fire Emblem game from my childhood. For real though, if i didn't play this game when I was super young, I don't think I would have gained interest in Fire Emblem. It was on a "Sega Smash Pack" for the Dreamcast, and I just fell in love with this game. It's music was a big reason too, so I love how well this sounds.

I think your arrangements have embodies the composer's idea well. I was going to arrange this but you've done so well that I'll just choose some pieces of it to arrange. For symphonies, I think you'd better not use compressor to any of your arranged songs--the dynamic is quite important.
