I have SO much respect for the artists of Love Nikki and Shining Nikki. The outfits are all so incredibly detailed, and the backgrounds and props too. The amount of effort they put into making all of that lace look crisp and visible, and adding tiny mesh texture to mesh/transparent areas of clothes, and adding all the little facets on gems. I love the details, they’re amazing.

I know this is not a popular idea, but... I really like 2D art better than the 3D. I never understood why everyone is hyped about 3D when 2D is way more versitile and better looking expecially in this type of game, imo I do apreciate the artists and work that has been put in this game. It looks really high quality

Try it first and then you will understand. 3D is actually far more versatile than 2D. Not only that u can view the dress from all angles & distance, more importantly, with 3D a single dress can have millions of different poses and u can see Nikki dancing & does Catwalk in it.

@@r.s.2300 Yes, but as much as I appreciate and enjoy the movement and the art, the thing I love the most about LN is being able to show off what I can do with my items and in the starry coridor and contest. Expecially in the starry corridor, I love the creativity and art people can create. Now, I don't know if the 3D game has a starry corridor, or an equivalent, but even if it dose, the fact the the Nikki is moving is a problem. This is the main reason I will not get the 3D suits in LN, because as beautiful as they are, other than looking at the movement, there is not much you can do with them to be creative (at least not more than you can do with a normal suit) Also, dose the 3D version have foreground/background/head/ground items? Cuz those are by far the best parts of the 2D sets. And if they exist, having a moving Nikki next to a static item would look a bit weird (I think) and if they don't... No matter how great the sets are, the avatar is not going to look as good as the ones in LN without them. This is what I meant when I said the 2D game is more versitile, but this is just my personal opinion. I might be wrong. I might install the game and who knows, I might like it more than LN, but at this point, I'm not sold

@@ioanamoiceanu9533 The Styling Contest in Shining Nikki is actually very much in the style of SC. As for foregrounds and backgrounds, in SN they are now mostly 2D backgrounds and stickers. I've seen people doing very creative stuff with them. Recently SN released the new feature of 3D Scenery, in which you have both 3D landscapes and 3D items (moon, oil painting frame, painted screen etc) which you can place wherever in the landscape. You can even interact with some of the items (sitting on them etc).

I can say it is super fun! I played the chinese version and the graphic is super beautiful. Even the normal outfits look great. Easy to get outfits. Very2 easy to understand even when i don't understand chinese. You guys can look forward so much. This game is the bomb. Very great graphic.

While I prefer 2D Nikki style-wise, this game is really gorgeous as well and the lore seems amazing. I can’t wait to read it. The only thing I’m kinda scared about is the cost lol, it will be hard to pay for both this and LN, especially when this one is pricier and we might not get the same perks as an international server. I hope they take a while giving us collabs, I need to prepare 😭.

i already play on the japanese server and i can tell you guys that the game is super fun!! it's not exactly a replica with the same mechanics as love nikki but lots of things are at least similar although its missing some fun things (competition, starry corridor, etc) but with the 3d mechanics i can forgive it.
