"Follow the rainbow sun" encapsulates late 80s early 90s children's programming. Also how you know Ringo had a hand in this. That is a straight up Ringo line.

Man, as a kid this was before my time, but my parents had some episodes taped from when it was on when my older sister was the right age. I must have watched that tape with like, 3 or 4 episodes a million times over. Left such a big impact that I still feel 20 years later.

That Steam Train in the intro and ending is Union Pacific 844 one of the biggest locomotives 🚂 ever build. Plus it’s one of few steam locomotives still in service today.

I loved this show when I was little. The Thomas the tank engine toys where the best it makes me sad that they no longer make these shows anymore. Today shows are nothing but crap like I always say classics are classics and don’t you forget it.

Me either. There's videos here on KZbin in which he cries and I just wish I could reach through the screen and comfort the poor engine. I feel so bad when he cries.

Same here reminds me of when I was kid, and for my birthday I got some of the Thomas the tank engine toys. I remember when I use to play with them, and watch this show with them. Now I'm 28, and I miss being a kid at times.

I wasn’t around to see this air on TV, but my grandparents had a VHS tape with a bunch of STS episodes on it from when my cousins, now in their 20’s, were little.
