Fun fact: The narration for Thomas and the Missing Christmas Tree seen in this episode is just Ringo Starr's UK narration with all of the lines containing "The Fat Controller" being completely removed (instead of being replaced with Sir Topham Hatt). You'll notice, especially at the beginning, long stretches of silence where there was normally narration (you can watch Ringo's full UK narration or even Carlin's US narration, for comparison). When they decided to use Thomas and the Missing Christmas Tree for this STS episode, Ringo had already left and wasn't around to re-narrate this for the US.
