Thank you for sharing this. I own the Einstar scanner and started using Solid Edge for design rather than FreeCAD. It would be nice if you could do a series of shorter videos focused on using scan data with Solid Edge covering more examples and details 😉👍😀

Can you make a shorter video just showing how to export an STL as a solid body so points can be selected in Solidworks? I prefer not to edit in Solidedge, just need to be able to pick points on the body so i can insert reference geometry like planes, then sketch on them.

solidworks doens't like STL. Best way I've found for Solidworks without some add-on is to make it into an .iges and go from there.
