I did not understand at first. But when they finished, to see the trunk and branches. So very beautiful.

I cannot imagine the knowledge Hiroaki Suzuki must have gathered when his father is Shinji and his master/teacher is Kimura, both have won the most prestigious awards in bonsai. Thanks, Bonsai Empire for posting.

They have estimated an age of 500 years just by touching its shari. That looked so impressive to me !

I bet you only eat ice because eating veggies would be the worst kind of torture to plants if we follow your thought process.

@@Pete-z6e It's what happens to your brain after eating a vegan diet for too long and starving your body of nourishment so you can no longer perform basic thinking.

First off, I woulda started with brushing up the live vein, and that additional Shari looked rushed. Also would have redefined the padding , leaving the top fuller , and separating pads further down. Idk it’s a outstanding tree to begin with , and I feel like it was just for entertainment. Great masters and highly respected, but I’m not impressed w the work.

Thanks for the video, it could have been interesting to know why he chooses that front

First of all: I realy respect these great master. But... in my opinion... I can’t agree with the change of the front. The son tree cut the line of the parent tree... The parent nebari is flat... The apex slide back away instead of lean thoward the observer... even with the new inclination. My two cent.🙏

I have mold (white furry kind) growing on the soil of one of my juniper bonsai trees. I water every other day usually, do I have to repot the tree or was removing the mold sufficient?.
