Hello EDGES. I am not 100% sure about this but it depends on the owner of the OG track for most of the part. But i think as long as producers dont make big(or any) profit from the cover track its not a big deal. I made a few covers already and i never had any trouble with uploading them. But i also dont monetize those videos. From my side you are free to use this track in your game. And i think as soon as you dont make thousands of dollars from it it should be no problem. Thats just the way i experienced it so far with my work i uploaded.

My game however, is a mobile game that is in the works and will be sold for free but will obviously be monetized through ads. Is it fair to use the music before the game is released as in just to show off the development with this music and later replace the music with an original once the game is to be released? The thing is...there is no other music that suits the game/level other than this track or its variants. I have been listening to this music non stop while playing my games level since yesterday...its FANTASTIC!
