Yasuke was a servent. He wasn't a japanese samurai. Why are people beliveing the BS. Does no one read?? Any thing to make people feel better being work. Their moving away from history and going to 100% fiction. That why everyone is hating on AC.

Theres several variations of who Yasuke was. Where he came from, and what he did, changes between stories in Japan. Theres even a Japanese Anime called Yasuke, describing his journey in becoming a Samurai. In terms of true History, theres a 50% chance that Yasuke was really a Samurai, but when it comes to media; everyone is going to assume he was, since thats the more exciting story

@@Altaz-Review I am just telling you what I learned when I lived in Japan and what they were telling me in the historical docoments. Not in the woke garbage trying to make everyone feel inclusive, And yes there is an a Anime made for Netflix made for american audiences LOL Whats your point?

@@SgtHotdogbun Your information is valuable, considering that very few people have been able to hear about the details first hand. You're correct, Yasuke might not have been anything more than a servant, but many accounts (Japanese or otherwise) are vague enough, that some people may have considered him a samurai, or thought he was one. Looking at the info you have read; Yasuke might be more comparable to Arthur or Artorias who are fictional or semi fictional respectively, but their accounts are left vague More importantly, for the context of this new game, Yasuke being a black samurai, and being a fairly well known character, is not new to Assassins Creed. I think any other game or studio could just as easily use this existing character template and present it as "Based/Inspired by True events" where the 'True events' are just the name and description of the character. So although you have a valid point, I just dont think its fair to blame Ubisoft for this one. Even if theyre being woke, they just got lucky that theres already a semi-fictional character they can use, rather than forcing the theme

@@Altaz-Review the company is going away from their orginal values and principles. The Majority of fans don't like the direction their going and I am just pointing out why. Call it woke, fiction or religion I could care less but thats why they have lost 14%+ of thier stock price since announcement. You can paint it any picture you want reguardless fans are speaking out with their voices and their money.
