Baragon never moves his head in any movie. So Bandai glued the head for screen accuracy.

I do think this looks better than the Playmates figure, but I'm mostly just hoping this release leads to a 2001 Baragon soon... And yes I do see the different back spine paint, you aren't crazy (in that regard at least...)

That’d be fantastic, never had me a 2001 Baragon. Even if it does end up smaller. That’s a critical need! And I’m glad I’m not the only one who sees it, makes me feel a lot less crazy .. in that aspect at least lol

I just got mine today; he’s my favorite monster so I was very happy with it. Got Rebirth Gamera too but unfortunately the tag to mine was incredible damaged. Looking forward to your review on him though!

It just came out, so it’ll likely be a bit of a wait. I don’t know how they run things specifically, but every import site not based in Japan seems to take a while to get their major stock in. Hopefully it won’t take much longer!

I preordered this and Ebirah from Awesome Collector and I got payment cleared in full last Tuesday, so I might be getting them soon, although I just checked Awesome Collector's website and both figures are set to be shipped next month! However, that might be just an estimate and they might end up dropping me a ship notification tomorrow or next day lol.
