Thanks for reviewing! I know you keep saying it's 85 bucks plus shipping, 85 bucks plus shipping and the other figures from Bandai are $30 but those are $30 for one figure and these are $85 for 4 figures plus accessories. That works out to less than 25 a figure so you should probably look at it that way because sometimes, it sounds like you're saying it's $85 per figure which yeah, would be crazy.

Great review man. My favorite, based on your video, is Baragon. I just love that little guy. Although i think the original head had dried glue on the muzzle. I hope they cover all of the Showa monsters. I've already got everything pre-ordered so far. I hope they make a Destroy All Monsters 3rd round for Manda, Varan, and Kumonga.

I've been considering this set just because I really want a Showa Ghidorah in my collection and I don't think Playmates is ever going to do one in their vinyl line nor do I trust Bandai with MonsterArts anymore.

I thought they were gonna be way smaller, as based on the Ultraman Set. "XL" escaped me all these months lol But yes, they are indeed, rather cool! Hoping for many things from Mezco's Godzilla line!

Great review Rob. I do like this set as the sculpt and detail looks very nice for each figures, QC issues aside. The one problem i have with this and the other set is simply the price. I'm sorry and I dislike to be critical, but 85 dollars is simply way too much money for such little figures like these and with that price you need to have quality over quantity and it does suffer with the QC issues. i can see it at 60 plus dollars, not 85. But that's just me.

YA have every right to be sketched out by the price, I can honestly understand why anyone would be. $85 is a bit much. Thankfully, their standard sets seem to be locked in at $60 and QC issues aside, these at least showed off that Mezco can very much pull this line off. I don't think well be getting large boxed sets like these ALL the time from them. I may've questioned the price, but even post review, I'm kinda becoming more okay with what I paid! Can only hope they'll improve on the minuscule weak sides over time!

great review man! I'd add that obviously the peg on Minilla's stand is more closer to the middle than the others since he's smaller. that way when attached, he'll be standing centered on the stand and not off the side awkwardly..

Seems like a weird, very mixed bag. Sculpts and general detail look amazing for these tiny figures. You get plenty of bang for your buck. But there does appear to be plenty of QC issues which like you mentioned with the price, is a bit odd. As far as it could have been, it's still a great looking set all things considered.

I try to look at it like this, these QC issues may be worrisome at best. yes. But, at least they're not on the same level as some of NECA or SHMA's worst. Not trying to justify that or anything lol Im hoping as more reviews come out, the figures remain on par or better than what i got. I'd take the small issues with these over the bigger issues with others ANYDAY, ya know! Either way, It's a pretty balling set!

Praying Round 1 gets its ass moving soon, really want dat Anguirus. That aside I adore this set but the weird QC issues seem to vary. Mine’s paint has a lot less gloss than yours overall with less slop and scuffs for the most part. Despite that KG’s middle head’s eyes are all red with no pupils although it actually looks pretty cool lol.

Between April and June according to their website, so we may be getting those emails ANY day now! QC issues aside, the set is quite lovely! While I'd prefer no QC issues, I guess it's better than something entirely damning... although solid red Ghidorah eyes, as you said, does sound pretty cool lol

Ironically, I think if they were bigger they’d been even more expensive. I think a big factor of the price is what they’re made out of. But I don’t know shit about hoot. Bigger figures would be nice, either way! Very curious to see how Mezco’s Giant Godzilla fairs upon release.

I'll take Z over Trigger any day. Trigger lost itself in trying to be too much, making it a slog to get through. Even then Trigger was just lackluster In how it delivered its offerings, the characters felt more like tropes than people. The Tokusatsu action was nice, but damn did everything around it fall apart QUICK.
