Completly agree with the sentiments regarding Kennit and his character. I don't think I've ever read from a pov so complex and conflicting, Robin Hobb is a genius.

I think kennet was the most fascinating character. Paragon was so cute. I wanted to give him a hug the entire time. Wont spoil tawny man but it makes me very emotinal. Need to be in the right mood

It's so cool seeing you finally getting to this series (same year as me) I remember all those years ago when you would mention wanting to read the farseer trilogy just to get to these ones and now you've completed them! Time really is a wild thing wow. I've gone on to read all the other ones (currently reading the series finale and I'm not ready to leave this world,,,,) Even though tawny man goes back to Fitz, I'm confident after your feelings in this review that you're bound to enjoy it, more than you did with farseer at the least!

I ADORE Robin Hobbs books, but every single one of them hurts me and the Tawney Man trilogy is no exception. I can't wait for you to get to them but I also totally understand. Im so glad you liked these- the Amber reveal was my favorite part!

SPOILERS . . . . . . . . I was waiting for you to find out amber is the fool! At the end of mad ship she has this line “It’s not the first time I’ve been called a fool, and likely not the last”

Tawny man has a major plot point related to liveships! Also it answers a lot of unanswered questions from the farseer trilogy too

I just read Liveship traders for the first time and at the line I literally stopped reading and had to stare off into the distance because it finally hit me who she was😭

I didn't really like the way other characters reacted to what Kennit did to Althea, especially Wintrow and Etta. If that was handled just a bit differently this would have been one of my favorite books ever.
