Having a brain fart. Can somebody explain to me in simple words how filming in 60 and slowing it down makes it smooth and why it's better than just filming it in task time?

If the music is sped up to twice the speed we will film it at 60 frames per second. When we play the footage back at 30 frames per second, our motion will look slow but in time with the music and provide that 'dream-like' look that is used in many music videos.
