I know I am late jumping on board but happy I found ya!!! I have been riding all over the world as well. Just a word of advice Every Every morning go over your nuts and bolts before starting your day. Just to be safe and ensure no one has messed with your bike over night. In south east Asia my caliper was losened twice. Hoping my bike would break down somewhere down the road. Annoyed the heck out of me. Just an fyi

Aw thanks Matt! This is inspiring me so much, I'd love to do something like this on my bike. Btw how do you guys charge your equipment while you're out there?

You should definitely get some trips done on the new bike and then just keep making them bigger trips 😊 We have USB outlets wired up on the bike so we can charge things as we ride. We also have Wireless Quadlock chargers on the handlebars to charge our phones. Other than that, we charge at hostels, cabanas and paid campsites as we stay there.

Dual disc front brakes. They had to remove a caliper to get the wheel off for the crate. How did you get it back on without taking one off?

Hi, thanks for asking. I've always taken the front wheel off the same as if you have one disk brake. I've taken the front wheel off dozens of times without removing any bolts from the brake callipers. You just have to wiggle the tyre between the callipers when removing the wheel. 🙂
