Heya great playthrough thanks for recording it. Around 1:01:58 I think the craftsmen also have to be discarded from your board (not from your hand). You might have had to make room for them or something...?

I learned this morning that one of the quickest ways to get my wallet opened up is to receive an email that says both 'Shem Phillips' and 'New Game'. Thanks for the detailed playthrough as always! This looks like a fun drafting game with familiar trappings that'll make my brain happy. Just like the rest of Garphill's offerings, there's just something special about them that is like thinky candy for my brain. Looking forward to it.

The Old Norse pronunciation of “færing” would be something like “fai-ring”. Here’s a breakdown of the sounds: æ is pronounced like the “a” in “cat”. r is trilled, similar to the Scottish “r”. ing is pronounced as in English.

Hello, does the game's title include the word "Redux"? It's odd that they chose the same name as an existing game for a totally different game. I think it might be a tad confusing for players ordering online. Cracking game.

Yeah Redux is in the title, it's replacing the original game in the North Sea trilogy so has the same theme and still slots into the overarching Runesaga expansion. There's a note at the start of the rulebook that explains that it was the first game in any of these trilogies and ten years on Shem felt it had flaws and didn't measure up to the rest of the games so this has been designed in its place.
