Thank you for this video. I am also planning to visit Shirakawago this November and was wondering what it looks like in autumn.

You're welcome! I'm so glad that you found the video helpful. Visiting Shirakawago in November sounds like an incredible experience, especially with the beautiful autumn foliage. I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time and make unforgettable memories. Remember to bring a warm jacket, as it can get chilly in the mountains during that time of year. Wishing you safe travels and an incredible adventure!☺

Hi! The video is helpful! Sorry if I'm confused, you said you shot the video on Nov5 but visited on Nov19? And you said it was late november? Sorry again, we would love to visit as well during autumn! 🍁🍂
@seasonchanges3 ай бұрын
Hi! I’m glad you found the video helpful! And I apologize for the confusion-it was actually shot on November 5th, my bad! I might’ve mixed up the dates when I mentioned late November. Sorry again if that caused any confusion. For the best experience, I definitely recommend visiting during the first week of November. The autumn colors are at their peak, and the weather is perfect. Let me know if you need any more details for your trip! 😊

Yes, this video was shot in November 5th during the peak of autumn. Late April will look different with flowers blooming and everything green. Every season in Shirakawa-go has something special to see!

I don’t use “breathtaking” so easily/often, but this, this scenery! There are 4 seasons here in NZ too, but they are not so distinct as those in JPN, mainly because there are more pastures than forests (more grass than trees) in this livestock farming nation. How pathetic!
