@@Greetjemalles thank you! I couldn’t remember Robin! I mentioned that they all died except Barry. Very sad to lose brothers. I lost two in the past six years

Love this song. A classic Carol King tune. This is the second time you visited this. Nora Jones, Chakra Chan. This has been done by many. The Shirrells is one of my favorites. The Bee Gees well everything they do is good. Family harmonies are the best. Nice suggestion. Great show, thanks our man.

@@jeffkerr4861 Thank you JK! It is one of my favorites and I’ve done it once in ‘23 and now twice in ‘24 I’ll try my best not to do the same cover as your right there are so many more covers of this. But one never knows what this brain might glitch up….

Wonderful. I just love this cover. They seem to be able to add so much more depth to the music and the lyrics. Robins ethereal “warbling” takes it to another level. Impeccable production, as always

Barry is alive. The other brothers (Robin, Maurice, and the youngest brother Andy), all passed. I love their version. Carol King said The Bee Gees version was her favorite.

@@Sandra6411 Thank you for watching, Sandra! Yes I knew that Barry was the only one alive. I never liked them until I got much older. But their cover of this was amazing!

I believe it’s ok to go back to do favorite songs. Definitely listen to songs on a record more then once. let’s go back farther 8 track (had one in my 75 Blazer). Had a few but not convenient to go back through and listen to favorites. We’ll an odd rambling ramble there. Anyways nice to watch and listen to again. Take care. 🙏🙏🙏

Just found out about one I never knew was covered. "Venus" by Shocking Blue was covered by Bananarama , and they both went to Number 1. Sadly I had never heard the cover, or knew about it. Thanks for this one, two enjoyable tunes.

Love the Shirelles version. Technically, you have to admire the talent of the Bee Gees, especially compared to the autotune era and heavily manipulated post production. As much as I admire that talent, I'm afraid they strike that Disco Suks cord in me that is deeply rooted (and carries on respective to bands I perceive to be the result of corporate marketing of what they think we're supposed to like). And get off my lawn, or something like that.

@@wadehines9971 ha! I understand believe I have the curmudgeon gene in me as well. As I said, I really hated the Disco era. But if you go back in time or move forward many years they were actually very good. And you can’t beat the harmonies.. thanks brother
