She has been my Most FAVORITE gospel singer since "Don't Drive Your Mama Away", I am 70yrs old now, and I STILL play and love this song.....There are so many other songs of hers that I often play and sing to, especially "Jesus I Love Calling Your Name", "Sweeping Through the City", "Getting Ready to Meet the Lord", "Peace in the Midst of Your Storm", "Faded Rose".......etc.... Ooooooh, I love her voice, her story-telling. She is the BEST, and has, that I know of, NEVER switched over to the "worlds music".

I've always loved Pastor Caesar. Been listening to her sing since i was a teenager. I am now seventy one and still enjoys her. It's good to know someone that has a track record of being the real deal. May God continue to bless and keep her as she continues to live for him and spread his word.

I saw a fake announcement today that her and Donnie Mcclurkin had passed. I don’t know why these sites are aloud to spread lies like that but it really upset me. I love moma Shirley and have been listening to her since I was a toddler. My grandmother had me in the Childrens choir and Jesus, Calling your name was my first solo at 6 or 7 years old. She was the first female gospel artist I fell in love with and still listen to today. I would go through my grandmothers gospel albums and listen to Andre Crouch, The Winans,The Williams Brothers, Mississippi Mass Choir, Red Bud Gospel Choir,The Clark Sisters, The Truthettes, etc. My uncle was in a gospel group called The Birds and whenever we were around the house or at get togethers, he would pull out the guitar and have us sing. Our go to was The Canton Spirituals and The Mighty Clouds Of Joy. We would sit around, make up songs and just harmonize. I loved singing and was in all school choirs, high school, college and competition choirs where we traveled and competed. Those times were the best in my life. I have got to find me a choir to join and I might be completely happy again. This woman is the reason I love to sing and started to sing so young. May she continue to be blessed and live a long healthy life….
