I like how she really gives the questions thought.

Oh wow! I miss the 90´s, lighthearted yet meaningful tv shows. She was just a teen, but the show was pretty complex. Bet the whole cast is unrecognizable. She became such a beautiful woman! 2:05 when she smiles, that "carved in marble beauty", the well crafted expressions, eyes, nose, jaw. Sorry, but I´m stunned lol I sound superficial though, her energy is glowing here, that indeed developed her into a stunning woman. Happy to hear from the show here on KZbin :)

I love this interview!! I loved Shirley’s character. Even to this day she’s a favourite! I was a huge mystery fan and had been watching Murder She Wrote and Matlock (in reruns) growing up. I was around 9 when I started watching The Adventures of Shirley Holmes and learned so much about observation, putting evidence together, not having to follow the crowd. Thank you for this!!

Great, natural, informative interview! As noted, the platonic relationships rang true (at the time - who knows about now?) and it was great to see students take each other seriously about things they knew something about or were trying to work out. Today, on TV, the teens are all talking about global or social issues about which they know nothing and it's just not convincing.

Oh I was OBSESSED with this show! It was so ahead of its time also with the way it portrayed characters, including first nation people, the friendships and issues of that time. I loved that Shirley and Molly were allowed to be so badass and strong without that weirdly written 'strong women character' vibe going on in todays shows. You can tell that many women worked in this production. I was so happy they released the full show on DVD here some years ago ❤

I grew up in the US, but watched this on Family Channel when this came out. I remember I had a gigantic crush on her. I also saw her on Mythquest. She’s only gotten more beautiful with time.

I remember when they randomly showed an episode of this a few years ago (along with gamerz) and I got happy for a moment I thought they were going bring back these shows.

I was sooo obesessed with Shirley Holmes, here in Latin America we only had one or two seasons for like 3 or 4 years so we only had reruns for that period. Still, always tunned the show. Probably my fist girl crush aswell.

Oh my gosh, I was a totally fan of Shirley Holmes at that point. I always think that she looks as Sarah Michelle Gellar in Cruel Intentions, so sad show ended without a properly ending. I always wanted to Shirley end up with No, nice couple. I have great memories of this.

This is so weird I was trying to remember the name of this show for months now and today I found it. Had I found it earlier I would never have found this interview. I used to watch the show as a child in South Africa!
