I disagree. Shirley knows they have a very limited time and she can see that Bobbie’s lighting is bad. She’s abrupt, not rude. And she knew what she was taking about.

MacLaine has been in films since she was 19, been in dozens and dozens of Major motion pictures, worked with the greatest directors in the craft, as well as an A List actor for the majority of her career. She’s not rude if she knows what she’s talking about.
