@Gaeilgeoir that truly is interesting, thank you for sharing me this info, I always thought the native scottish language was called Flemish. Furthermore, I remember a film about the culture of Nova Scotia I saw in sixth grade, and part of it talked about this cultural think the people do. They bang this long wooden thing, and they do a chant. As for language, it said they Chant in Gaelic, the language of their Scottish ancestors.

And just to add to that, the main Celtic language spoken in Scotland is correctly called Gaelic whereas its sister language in Ireland should only be called Irish (as all the books etc, are so labeled). :)

As a Scotsman myself, I can detect a very subtle inflection in her voice that has never been there before. It sounds a little like a mix between her Catherine Weaver inflection, and having a strained throat. It's noticable in a few of her words and sentances... I hope she doesn't Sheena Easton out on us!!!!
