Shirley has a big role to Lulu in the series but she died. In the movie universe, her role to him became lesser, but she lives.

I wouldn’t say lesser to an extent…yes she has little screen time in the films but she played a vital role with CC when she was the only one to get ahold of Lulu’s body after his death to resurrect him, plus she knew of the zero requiem plan given her reaction at the parade 😢
