@@Pappteller I think much of it became popular thanks to a genre of music called Synth Pop. There's this old band that made it popular back in the day called Kraftwerk. They made some songs with a robotic voice effect similar to what's heard in this song. Some of their most notable tracks are Man Machine and Autobon. Kraftwerk is actually a huge inspiration for my dad, who also makes this style of music.
