The intro for Mario Party 2 will always be my favorite one. That was the first Mario Party game i ever played and it's still my favorite one up to this day.

My opinion of every Mario party intros: *Mario Party: the one that started all *Mario Party 2: The funniest one Mario Party 3: The one that introduce the story Mario Party 4: The weirdest one? *Mario Party 5: Shows gameplay, that’s it. Mario Party 6: The “Mario Party” one, but the host are arguing instead *Mario Party 7: The best one. Mario Party Advance: feels like a Pokémon intro Mario Party 8: SERIOUSLY?!!! *Mario Party DS: Mario Party 3 2.0 Mario Party 9: Mario Party 3 3.0 Mario Party: Island Tour: Mario Party 4 but less weird. *Mario Party 10: The worst one, it literally has nothing, not even a title screen. Mario Party: Star Rush and Top 100: TITLE SCREEN. Super Mario Party: a classic callback. *Mario Party Superstars: a Love letter. The “*” means the games that i played.

Opinions on each: MP1: Love that even Wario was randomly included in this group wanting to be the Superstar MP2: LOVE that the entire game is a play that even Bowser is more than happy to get in on. MP3: Pure nostalgia. Love the game takes place in a pop-up world. MP4: Lol what IS Koopa doing here? Nonetheless, first fully 3D animated cutscene and it does not disappoint. MP5: Wow what a downgrade. All it does is shows gameplay of each of the boards. It's cool that they show different boards each time but not a fan of this. MP6: Really love the artbook aesthetic of this. It was animated real well and the personalites show better. MP7: The best one in my opinion. I just love the idea of everyone deciding to go on vacation and an irate Bowser wants to crash the fun because he wasn't invited. Those Bowser Time events aren't no joke after all. MP8: Terrible. Seriously all it shows is Mario posing and then images of the rest of the playable characters at the title screen. Let me point out in MP7s title screen, ALL of the characters are animated running toward the screen. MP8 is a WII game how can they be lazy with the intro? MP9: This intro is as generic and bland as the game itself. Why do Bowser think MINI Stars is more important than, well, actual STARS? MP10: No intro? Trash. The game itself? The entire junkyard. MPA: The hell? I only played this game once like 10 years ago and it's just so meh. Not helping that you know there is only 4 playable characters in this game for some reason. MPDS: PIRACY IS NO PARTY!!! Lol jk but this intro is pretty fire for a portable. I love how the cutscenes of the characters play to the game. MPIT: This is pretty much MP1's intro in a bit. Everyone is invited then they're all transported by bubbles? Meh. At least all of the other MP games gave them reasons to party instead of just a random note saying "you're invited!" MPSR: *See MP10* MPT100: *See MP10* SMP: This is pretty much MP1 as well but I do like the inclusion of Bowser and his troops. Everyone is in this party together even the Big Bad Koopa himself lol MPS: I honestly feel this is a downgrade from SMP's since Bowser and his troops aren't included but the charm is still there.

The reason why 8 actually didn't have a proper opening was because it knew it was going to be the best damn mario party out there. It didn't need no crazy over the top story to it, it just throws you into the frey ready to whoop some ass.

Eh I don't know about that dude. The fact it doesn't have an intro makes it worse by comparison actually. Even Super Paper Mario that released not too long ago has a nice full opening. Like they could've done more than just having Mario do a spin pose and just include the title screen with him and small pictures of the other characters. Comparing that to the previous game 7 where ALL playable characters are seen running on the title screen.

The top three Mario Parties IMO are 4, 5, and now Mario Party Superstars. My least favourites are 8, 9, and Advance. And the minigames in Island Tour are not very good. BUT! Mario Party 3 has the best minigames of them all. It would be in my top three of it wasn't for the weak boards tbh.
