I’ve been a huge Toadette fan since Mario Party 7. That’s where and when I first met her. I still didn’t know that her real first appearance was in MKDD though. She and her Peachette form are still truly the best. (I could just squeeze her balloon-type gut when she use the P Balloon. Literally)

The OTHER characters from Mario Party 8 like, Toadette, Boo, Blooper, Dry Bones, and Hammer Bro. were supposed to be IN that game called Mario Party 9 and Koopa Paratroopa from Mario Party 7 was supposed to be a playable character in Mario Party 9, ALONG with Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Wario, Waluigi, Yoshi, Birdo, Toad, Koopa Troopa, Shy Guy, and Kamek!

im normally not a big fan of characters being made just to fill roster space in a spinoff game, looking specifically at the extra baby characters we keep getting, and the myriad of goons filling space when characters like the kongs or toadsworth, etc deserve it way more. but god is toadette the best thing thats happened. she does the one thing that a lot of these types of characters don't do right and its actually being memorable, even if she is easily summed up as girl toad. She's been my favorite mario character since i was little, and now her and Wario share my #1 spot :)

Ah yes Toadette one of my favourite Mario characters. In my opinion I think she's one of the more underrated ones. I mean she's just so adorable and cheerful I especially love her voice and that's what makes her so likable. (At least for me) I mean I like Toad. But to me Toadette's just a lot more interesting to me. I was personally glad to see her return in Mario Maker 2 and New Super Mario Bros Deluxe. In fact she would have been a great edition in 3D World + Bowser's Fury

To this day, I don't understand why Toadette disappeared between Super Sluggers & World Tour. She was no less of a spin-off regular than Daisy & Waluigi. Ah well, her appearances in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker & main Mario games makes up for it. I wonder if she'll be in Illumination's Mario movie.

Even though Toad and Toadette are described as “genderless,” Toadette is female in my eyes and Toad as male. I also always see Toad and Toadette as best friends and not siblings or lovers, which brings in a very unique concept of male/female friendships.

apparently toad and toadette are canonically siblings, i cant remember exactly where it is said but i think it was a magazine or a manual, some type of paper thats for sure Edit: So it was a Prima Guide that stated they were siblings, take that with a grain of salt, but there's also evidence that deconfirms them being a couple, literally all i could find was MP6 stating that they're "shroomates" Personally since toad is an entire species, she could be siblings with one toad, and dating another?
