One thing i didn't like is the dark and gore they put in that movie. Like....so easily they made servant die. That's scary but literally piss me off. And yeah i am still can't wait for that even i am not realy like. I like interaction betweek sakura and shiro, but if they made like this. Absolutely NO. The Gilgamesh in Grand Order Babylonia is a Gilgamesh that is the ruler of Uruk. He's also a caster, which means a more mature mindset, since that is a Gilgamesh after his journey to find immortality. The Wise King vs the Arrogant Hero, basically.

The difference between Archer EMIYA and Shirou is that Archer really believed he can save the world and he did everything with this thought in his mind. Even when he sold his soul to Alaya/Humanity`s collective will to survive. And only then, killing people for saving humanity as whole for eternity, he realized that it can`t be achieved. But Shirou already realized that he can`t save everyone and he is just willing to do that because process itself makes him happy. His selfless dream to help people is actually his most selfish desire to become happy by doing that. He understood it, he admitted it and he accepted it - something that Archer never figured out during his life. When Archer realized that he gave up, because it was not about their dream being wrong, it was about him who got it wrong.

I think without realize it, archer subconsciously try to taught shirou that there is different between false ideal inherited from others n ideal born by their own desire, n shirou being the one at receiving end thanx to archer n rin slowly (and perhaps subconsciously) recognize that his own thinking n ideal is twisted by his survivor guilt for surviving the past war start to recognize what being hero of justice means thus what saber say... Archer’s stated goal was to defeat Shirou’s spirit, by that, he means he wants to make him give up on being a hero; only after that would Acher kill Shirou. Archer hoped that if Shirou was defeated in body and spirit he would disappear. We don’t know if it would actually work but the general consensus is that it wouldn’t make a difference.

EMIYA (Archer) doesn’t have a Noble Phantasm. A NP is the crystallization of a hero’s legend and EMIYA has no legend. Unlimited Blade Works is just the closest thing for him since it represents his ideals which put him on the path to becoming a Heroic Spirit. Reality Marbles can be Noble Phantasms, such as Zero Rider’s Ionion Hetairoi where the crystallization of their legend is formed as a Reality Marble, but it could also be like the case of Shirou where he developed it in life as a result of the fire (among other things). One would need to train to learn the skill to cast a Reality Marble, but Shirou could just get that from EMIYA during their fight. The only thing he would need to do himself is having a complete self image of himself to fully develop his Reality Marble.

While Archer's goal is to kill Shirou, he could have done it at any point. He's a servant after all. What he subconsciously wanted was to prove that Kiritsugu ideals were impossible/wrong, that his actions of abandoning the ideals were justified. But in the end, Shirou is as stubborn as Archer, and refuses to abandon it, even at the brink of death. Archer realised he lost, not in a physical contest, but a contest of ideology. Also, while it's not stated in the show (I think it was stated by the creator), Archer is one hell of a planner. If his plans of defeating Shirou worked out, he would have had Rin to become Saber's master and win the Holy Grail War without him. Things didn't turn out exactly as he intended, but RIn still became Saber's master.

Yes and no. Her ancestor really IS the pupil of a mage with very german name. But that's not it. In this universe spoken incantations are triggers for mage's body to perform a spell. Mages train themselves to use their Circuits without thinking. It's like self-hypnosis. In other words you can say whatever you want as long as it puts you in special mental state when you can use your Circuits. But if you say your "trigger words" in your life it will cause you to enter that state unwillingly (if you are trained well) so magi use foreign languages to prevent it from happening. Kiritsugu, Shirou and EMIYA use english ("time alter", "trace on", UBW chant) but Shirou in the next eps will show us that the mage can say anything as long as it has the needed meaning for him. Iirc, a reality marble requires a pretty strong mental image, and the mana and willpower to force it on to reality… …the real issue is that Shirou seemingly learns UBW from his future self, which creates a bit of a paradox à la a certain song of storms if you catch that non-Fate reference. So ultimately, the origin of UBW is probably always going to be inconclusive.

That's what one of the reasons why he made a deal with Alaya. And most of his arsenal he got most likely during his work as CG, not from Gil. Basically, any mage can figure out rm, except it would take hundreds of years at the cost of sanity. Because of his mentality, Shirou was able to made this in couple of decades... or in couple of weeks with proper example.

Well they did but everyone avoids it like covid despite it being 1/3 of the entire main story of fate. Everyone says it was done improperly even though that can be said about every fate adaption from Fate to UBW to HF. Including the spinoff adaptions. I personally watched the deen adaption because it's was the first thing made. I never read the VN like most newcomers so anything hinting towards the other routes didn't click in my mind i just watched it. In short to any newcomers to the fate series, here is my advice for the watch order list from me not knowing or reading the Visual Novel. WATCH EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN ADAPTED!!! FROM THE FIRST FATE TO THE CURRENT FATE GRAND ORDER MOVIE!!! REGARDLESS OF EVERYONE'S OPINION ON WHETHER ITS GOOD OR BAD OR SOMEWHERE IN THE MIDDLE. IF YOU FEEL THAT THE ADAPTION ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH, THEN READ ITS VISUAL NOVEL, LIGHT NOVEL, MANGA AND SO ON. DON'T SKIP ANYTHING FOR IT IS ALL IMPORTANT TO THE ENTIRETY OF THE FRANCHISE. Even when it comes to small little details and such. Not that I've read the Visual Novel but I kept hearing people talk about it. Also, I would recommend any newcomer like myself to watch the deen adaption simply because its the start of the whole journey and spoilers to any route is something people won't realize until they've watched the entire main story. Gil maintained conciousness after bathing in the Grail due to his arrogance, it nevertheless corrupted him and amplified his evil traits, as such the dickish and doomsday personality he has in UBW compared to his high and mighty spectator personality in Zero. It's a mistaken belief that the Holy Grail's Black Mud changed Gilgamesh's personality. When Gilgamesh was summoned during the 4th Holy Grail War, he possessed an Aura of King and Royalty. His only interaction with humanity was through Tokiomi and Kirei. After the war, since he gained a physical body (he will age), he took an Elixir of Youth and spent 10 years living amongst modern society. His philosophy on how society should be comes from 3000BC and is incompatible with modern society. While he did find modern society to be entertaining, he also became disgusted by how humanity lives, and therefore treats them as trash. So in essence, the longer Gilgamesh was to interact with society, the worse he would become. Gilgamesh personality would be determined by which Age he would be summoned to (and what version of Gilgamesh is summoned).

Ah yes, MANA TRANSFER. In the VN they slept with each other but it was removed due to boneless and testicleless nature of tv itself. Also those scenes in the VN have very low quality writing and weird anatomy issues. So I can't imagine reading the whole VN (50+ hours) for such pathetic р0rn. But it was in the original story so it must be here for showing respect to the source.
