Here is what I do as SM during Refinement: Encourage team to ask for clarification and questions. Facilitating the poker sizing so there is alignment across team. Encouraging team towards making refinement satisfy Definition of Ready

Hi Ryan/Todd, What Scrum Master should do, if Product Owner has not prioritized Product Backlog Items? Also, if he is not assisting neither Scrum Master nor to any one when there are not sufficient items to be taken into Sprint?

Is a refinement session a good place for solutioning/design? I enjoy giving teams the ability to converse about a given PBI and really decompose the "ask." I know others feel that refinement should be items that are "ready" for estimation only. Where would suggest the design work should happen?
