And on top of that, Kratos was always favoring the Spartans, creating an imbalance (i didnt understand that part myself, but im guessing its because he was also gaining too much power and zeus didnt like that?). Also the fear that Kratos could do the same as he did to his father, Cronos, didnt help, cuz he was hungry for power and had a big the desire to rule over mortals as said by Atlas.

Kratos kills the sisters of fate and goes back in time to prevent Zeus's betrayal. Kratos battles Zeus, when he almost kills him, Athena appears and sacrifices herself to save Zeus. Add to that the fact that GOW 3 was exclusive to the ps3 so some of us had to wait even longer before we could get our hands in one. I remember having to spend a extra YEAR of waiting after the release. Time which I had to study my ass off because my father said I would only get a ps3 for Christmas if my grades were top notch. Once I finally got to play I was one of the most memorable experiences of my life because I had dam well earned it. To this day I finish GOW 3 at least once a year. It’s a bloody masterpiece😍😍

I was just a kid, I had 11 years old, in that time we were a family of immigrants working class, I couldn't have a ps3 cuz was very expensive for my parents but I wanted it so much cuz me and my brother discovered on KZbin God of war 3, we were so obsessed that we begged our father to buy at least the second one for ps2 and he bought it, we played it so much that day. It's just absurd how videogames or movies can make kids happy, even though we were poor and in outskirts, we had the possibility to change worlds and have dreams. Thank God I'm 22 now and my family is very well, I played all God of war, I finished ragnarok some days ago and I feel so grateful for many things, from the stupid one to the most important one.

Time travel can be hard to explain. The best thing to do is not thinking that much about it.

Remember this is Mythology not science fiction. Time travel seems to be magical in God of War and is more of a Physical thing than our conception of the passing of time. The sisters literally weave time into existence with a loom but can erase and re weave it after creating it. Think of it like a story you’re writing, time travel in god of war is basically crossing out and rewriting part of the story, this can cause inconsistencies and contradictions but the book isn’t going to split itself into two or correct itself.
