Thank you for this nice video. We need more videos regarding heat transfer and fluid flow coupling.

I am working on simulating the flow of gaseous hydrogen within a porous medium with the additional complexity of a chemical reaction that generates heat. I have successfully set up the basics of the flow and porous media in COMSOL (Brinkman equations and Heat transfer in porous media). Still, I am unsure about how to incorporate the heat source term issued from the chemical reaction into my problem, especially in the Heat transfer in porous media.

Thank you for your video. I have a question, if we use Multiphysics, COMSOL would choose Fully coupling automatically or always Segregated? As I understand that if we choose Multiphysics in COMSOL, the equations would be coupling and no need to choose options in the Study? Thank you! :)

Hi, thanks for your video...will there be different in results if left segregated and fully coupled ways? Is it always we need to stop solution when we see the groups in solution and stop the simulation and add fully coupled....

If your equations are coupled then the best choice is to go for fully coupled. Whenever you have independent equations you can opt for a segregated solver. This answer is based on my experience. You may reach out COMSOL support for more detailed information.

Nice Video sir, if I changes the the temperature of bottom wall to 400 K to let say 50000k , it is not compiling for results, its saying that " - Feature: Time-Dependent Solver 1 (sol1/t1) Failed to find consistent initial values. Last time step is not converged" can you please mention the reason for this error.

Because 50000k is too high temperature and hence it is creating numerical instability. It is difficult to understand what exactly caused this error.

@@pioneerofsuccess4054 ,Yes you are correct sir, I also checked by replacing with other material in the of water , but the error is same ..
