Hi guys. Hope all is well. I am the operator in this video. But I can explain to make it clear between Bowe and sankosha. 1- energy consumption. Less steam needed as compared to sankosha. Means you can use smaller boiler. Doesn’t need bigger boiler because in Bowe there is no steam injection. Used steam 75% less as compared to sankosha. 2- no polish needed for plates. 3-no wrinkles on cuffs. Different shirts different finishes on the sleeve. There is common wrinkle on shirts in sankosha. 4- it seems smaller but works perfectly. In this video you can see the shirt which had a Coller size 16.5. Which is not a smaller shirt. If you need any more information I am happy to help. Thanks

Hi. Great video and thanks for taking the time to share this. I work for Parrisianne Dry Cleaning Solutions Ltd, the UK supplier of Sankosha shirt machinery & that is our engineer operating the LP5600 Whilst it’s very good to see both machines working, they are not a direct comparison. The Bowe machine is actually comparable to the Sankosha LP-560 model (not the LP5600 which is shown) Differences between the Bowe & LP-560 1. The Sankosha LP-560 has a tuck loading arm & pressing plate for the perfect finish on the sleeve placket 2. Only the Yoke press (shoulder plate) is teflon coated, allowing for industry leading finishing on short front & sleeves as is the normal for Sankosha The Sankosha LP-560 is a hybrid finisher with plate finishers for front, sleeves plus shoulders & hot air blown finish for the rear of the shirt. As this machine does not have steam injection it can be run on a 36kw boiler Please see next comment for a link to the Sankosha LP-560 in action

The Sankosha machine in the video is a high production unit that presses shirts wet to dry in 10 secs, has pressing plates front & back, full tensioning across the entire body as well as full tensioning on the collar cuff press.

Does anyone ever show the odd cut shirts that don't fit the buck properly or do they always use the ones that fit nice? I have a sankosha and my shirts never lay down this nice on the buck.

Good to see how these new machines work up close before purchase. Which would you recommend?

The body on Bowe is much smaller ideal for fitted shirts where as Sankosha has a standard wide body same as most shirt machines. I will certainly look into Bowe, I wonder what’s the price difference between the two ?

Sankosha short machines actually have a range of machines that have different size bodies. ranging from (WxH) 460 x 880mm up to 770 x 930mm The Sankosha LP-560 & Bowe have exactly the same size body

To be fair we need to see a review from people who bought these machines and what they think of it ? My heart is more towards Sankosha as they are more established in the UK but than again Bowe is a big German company 🤔
