I love Deicide, but that thing you said about them fucking over Europeans is absolutely true. They were supposed to play on the Gefle metal festival here in Sweden, but cancelled a month before they were scheduled to take the stage. Luckily, the festival found a replacement in Dark Funeral, but then Lord Ahriman announced that, while in Iceland, he tested positive for covid, so they had to cancel as well. Dark Funeral was the first band to be announced to play the festival next year, however. They kinda just postponed their set.

I was lucky enough to catch Deicide at Netherlands Deathfest, but other 3 times they canceled too. As for Dark Funeral, have seen them several times, they are always amazing. I saw them first in Riga 98 as support for Cannibal corpse. And they will play now at Brutal Assault too. Can't wait

I am not a massive fan, but I will definitely watch them. Even if you don't like them, you can't deny, that the vocalist is doing incredible job for them
