Gabe Lopez nah I know for a fact Physics majors ain't got it easy but you gotta understand we don't study physics with passion like you guys. Physics 3 I did so well but the fucking class had so many Physics major that the average was like 78 and ruined it for me. We do enough to pass the class and focus on our Engineering classes and labs that matter to us the most.

kaziabir1 It would be cool if both physics and engineer course would always be together, except for some of course.. I just graduated and I am preparing for grad school in physics so right now I picked up studying electrical engineering stuff as a hobby and its awesome being able to apply what I have learned to build stuff. Like in my electricity and magnetism class we didn't really do many applications, but I just was reading in an electrical engineering book about certain wires and there was this effect for AC at high frequency called the skin effect where all the electrons go to the surface of the wire,. Then when I was reviewing lagrangian and hamiltonian mechanics a few days ago it was cool because I did an example with exactly that effect in mind where a particle (electron) is constrained to the surface (skin effect) of a cylinder (wire) so apparently we do some application in physics but they don't really mention it sadly.

Gabe Lopez No lol I don't want to take any more Physics than I absolutely have to. I thought I loved physics before I came to college but I change my mind. Actually one of the main reason I picked Electrical Engineering major was to avoid Chemistry and also because EE major also know most of Computer Science materials so I can be a software engineer if I wanted to.

Plenty of engineering students have macs nowadays. It's pretty nice hardware and OS X works beautifully. As long as you can afford it, they're very effective.
